...and whilst scanning the "green room/bedsit" yesterday I noticed Rachel from Norn Irn...but she then didn't appear*.
I know it's live(-ish) but I wasn't aware anything had overrun. Why was she there?
* hang on, I was watching on Sky+ so maybe I just zapped through her.
Quite possibly in the new format her contribution was so short you could have missed it by blinking.0 -
Naga Munchetty must be thinking why did I leave Bloomberg for this...?
Kinda of like what happend to Emma Crosby when she left CNBC for Sky News

Having watched the programme daily (when it's on!) for a few years I was not happy with the new format from the start but thought I would give it a chance. I thought today's programme reached an all time low. They found time to waste discussing romance (for no particular reason) and found time to speak to a guy who makes smoothies several times. But when Trevor Bayliss came on and began to say his piece he was constantly interrupted and just as he was getting to the thing he wanted to talk about they "ran out of time". Yet they had time for another minute of smoothie guy saying nothing in particular. I won't be watching again.0

I have sent an email, I don't hold out any hope for change tho'
BBC going down the pan very quickly.:rolleyes:0 -

Yes I found that frustrating too.0 -
I'd sure tune in if it was Emma Crosby instead of little Dec!0

Does anybody have a specific email link for contacting the BBC to complain about the dumbing down of this programme? I've searched through their website and and trying to find a specific link is as bureaucratic and user unfriendly as the whole institution is.0

Specifically: http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/complaints_stage1.shtml
Better to complain via this route than e-mailing the people who actually make the programme, IMHO..0 -

Apologies to Northern Ireland, but her voice grates horribly.
Can't wait for it to become "Retired Lunch" .
Dec is the same with pronunciation, (but yes her voice does grate), in fact I think all the Irish pronounce similar, they pronounce bush as boosh, foot is pronounced as in boot, etc.
I also sent of an e-mail condemning the new format after watching it for years, telling them that as well as me, they will probably loose a sizeable chunk of their audience unless they bucked up the show, looks like I am not the only one according to this thread.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
