    I've been Money Tipped!
Daisychain and Different Courner - I'm still struggling to get on the OS wagon. :o

JackieO - I'm glad Dracula's daughters were gentle with you when you finally got in. Surely everyone knows that at a hospital you have to wait, and wait, and wait... I always take a good book.

Diva - what a weekend! I haven't been on, otherwise I would have certainly been missing you.

I am so sure that I am missing loads of things I would like to say.

Whatatwit - wishing your FIL well, fingers crossed for you.

Lamewolf - we are currently playing our own diceless system based very loosely on the Amber system. In fact we have been playing this same campaign since December 2001! Dear heart used to sort out the miniatures, but I loved them so much and used to stand outside GamesWorkshop shop admiring some of the huge and complex miniatures in there.

Bethebee - you do more in a day than I have been managing in a week!

Tonight we are having tinned pie and oven chips. Rather a come down after reading all the lovely food that you will be having. However, the tinned pies need using up.

I am feeling very poorly. Just before we went on holiday the Doctor increased my dose of antidepressants, as I was still quite bad. However the tablets are making me feel so ill, and I actually passed out the second day I took them, or rather the second night. I had to get up to little bear and after I had cuddled him back to sleep I had to ask dear heart to look after him and I eventually passed out in the toilet. I have tried given myself time to get myself acclimatised to the tablets, but yesterday, after nearly collapsing several times, I stopped taking them. I have an appointment to see the doctor next week, and I hope I will be able to sort something out.

:o So I shall probably be coming on here saying 'woe is me' at regular intervals.

However old style I have, um, well...

I have been feeling extremely woozy (which I am well aware is very minor compared to a lot of people on here) so I have done a little ironing, cuddled little bear, put his favourite toy (or one of the versions of his favourite toy) in the washing machine and made plans for tomorrow involving freezing a huge batch of home made soup.

:D I took little bear out as well. It was only a few yards really, to the end of the street, but I was doing so well and just because I was feeling physically well did not mean I was going to lose all the ground I had made up on going out. I am really proud of that. (nearly didn't make it but the very nice man from next door was within shouting distance so if there had a problem he would have looked after little bear).

Little bear is also a bit off colour, and is currently asleep. He is probably down to his nappy again. I seem to be playing lots of merry games of 'hunt the vest'.

Evil cat is fairly evil, but can barely be bothered. The central heating is on, but only on timer for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon. I can't put the fire on in the living room until I radically reorganise a lot of furniture, so she can't kip in front of the fire. And I have moved all the ironing about so her favourite spot on the table is no longer available. Therefore most of her energy is now directed into sulking, and shedding cat hairs between the duvet and the sheet.

And dear heart took a full bootload of absolute clutter to the tip yesterday. That has certainly cheered me up!

Haribo - one of the nice ladies at my old church once asked if dear heart was my son :eek::eek: He is eighteen months older than me. I had also written a series for the church magazine called Cats in the Bible - humorous anecdotes and Bible quotes that went with them. She told me that she really liked my P ussy stories :eek::eek:

What is the phrase used in these situations - ah yes - 'should have gone to specsavers'.

Afternoon gang, well I finally sorted the car insurance via Quidco-first time I have ever used they(was a very late quidco convert) but was logged out of quidco by the time I has bought the policy so hopefully I will get the cashback. Either way am very pleased as it was £231.44 cheaper than our renewal(rip off as M has never had as much as a parking ticket since he has been driving) so thats very welcome:j

Moneysavingdiva - My PC crashed big time a few weeks ago. Luckily, my DS1 came round and eventually managed to get it all working again although he hadn't ever had to do it before. I found that some of the things I thought I had lost, like my email address book and all my favourites, mysteriously reappeared half through the following week. It was as though the PC was taking it's time making sure that I was the right person to be using it. I lost my photos on Kodak Easyshare but had put them on Picasa - I lost the Kodak ones but, to my relief, they were still on Picasa, so I would definitely recommend putting yours on Picasa in case it happens again. I had to re-install my printers, but not other things. I also thought I'd lost all my documents but they suddenly turned up a few days after DS1 had fixed it. Don't give up hope that all is lost; just keep checking now and again and, with luck, you'll be surprised how much the PC 'remembers'! I now use a memory stick having been lectured about it by DS1!

Thanks for the good wishes for my toe! It still hurts when I touch it (I know, don't touch it!) but the bruising is going down already so it's not going to get me any sympathy from anyone.

I haven't caught up with the thread properly - I got really caught up with paperwork then a good friend phoned from France and we had a good long chat which was lovely. I can't believe it's gone 5 o'clock already! I'd better get the washing in - not sure if it has dried very well so it will probably have to go on the airer.

See you all later and (((hugs))) to everyone.

MSDiva I didn't come online over the weekend, so couldn't miss you.:o Sorry to hear you've had such a bummer of a time though.

Ever since a friend's laptop died, Mr LW and I religiously back up our files to a memory stick once a month; and important things like the accounts spreadsheets I back up virtually every time I make an entry.;)

Mr LW rang me a bit earlier to say that he's got to log on to work at 20:00 tonight. Poo.... I was hoping for an evening to ourselves. Oh well, hopefully it won't take long.

I've been good this afternoon, repaired two skirts and a pair of shoes, all of which were unwearable before.:D

    Afternoon all
Work is still stupidly busy, there was no one to get any paper for me, so I've b*ggered up my shoulder again, roll on 16th. I was alone on duty today & had to break up a fight, & got thumped for my troubles, only a body blow so not serious. I have to get something done for my NVQ by Thursday, aarrggg.
WB MSD, I've been wondering about Poppy Oscar, I know her OH was due over, I just hope she's too busy & happy to post, I know he had mental health problems, so hope it's all ok.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester
