I hope you and your joints are feeling better soon Jackie.

Goodmorning to everyone! Just taking a break from the monday work load, feeling sleepy and sluggish after deciding it was a good idea to stay up late last night (I'm 17, I should bounce back!) I need a cup of tea or something.
Yesterday I made my own grape juice, it was so so sweet! And only grapes and water too

Just work today, then going to my grandparents this evening, bath and tea once I get home, iron some clothes for going out tomorrow night (seeing the mighty boosh in sheffield with my brother)

  • Morning all, sunny and cold here this morning in CD, no heating on as yet, had a nice quiet day after DH went to work yesterday, did housework and washing and sat down in the candlelight to watch X Factor and Harry Potter, wrapped in my snuggly fleece.
Today i have ebay parcels to post and we will have chicken fahitas for lunch, made HM soup yesterday lentil and barley with some pork thrown in so i will have that tonight.
DH will progress with bathroom today and get some more cladding on ready for the removal of loo at the weekend.
Reading other posts about dogs weeing on beds etc, my little border terrier !!!!! does the same thing in her bed, she is 11 yrs old and does get stressed out very easily, still i would'nt part with her.
Have a good day all BSB xxx
  • Morning everyone,a lovely dry sunny, but very cold day today.I'm so glad as I have loads of washing to do.
So far have'nt put my heating on but I've come to the conclusion if I'm going to manage my fuel billls I'm going to have to make some changes in my spending and become even more frugal.Oh well,I suppose it's easier knowing that everyone's in the same boat and I'm not alone.
Going to do my weekly clean today and get my ironing done later.
N9eav- hope you don't find court too much of an ordeal.I'm just so happy my jury service was cancelled for this fortnight.
PenPin -I do hope you feel better soon.
Jackie0-I sympathise with you and your joints.Try to keep warm it helps.
To everyone else have a lovely day and lets all try to make the best of it.
    Take care xxx.

    Morning :hello:

The whisk attachment on my hand-blender seems flimsy but it mixed up the cake mixture quite well. It couldn't cope when the last bit of flour went in so I used a spoon at the end :D

I want to takes pics of my cards to upload them to ebid, trouble is they don't sell well online because they don't look brilliant - I'm no David Bailey lol, and I can't find the camera at the mo

I wanted to transfer money from Natwest to Co-op yesterday, it told me I didn't have the thing set up so I thought 'well, I'll do that now then' then it said I needed a card reader gadgety thing  So I've sent off for one of those. I'll probably never use it, the transfer was a one-off. Our cash is set up and budgeted so the right amount goes into each account, and anyway I prefer going to the actual bank.

Mr troo is still going on about me working for his mate  I told him the last thing I want to do is work in a shop, I've done enough of that and I can't stand the customers :D

bootsalebabe, mine is a boarder terrier too, lovely little dogs, with real character, the biggest problem I have had with mine, is that she hates other dogs, , I am finally getting to the bottom of it though, every time she barks at another dog I squirt her with water from a sports water bottle, she hates water more than she hates other dogs. Would not be without her though x

Troo, have you got a scanner ? I sell postcards on Ebay, and scan them and they are brilliant - I then list them with Auctiva and you can then supersize them and see everything.
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D

I have a scanner but it's one that feeds through so it's no good. The lovely Donny_gal offered me one but at the time everything was going wrong and I didn't think I'd be able to do my cards anymore.

I saw an all-in-one in Tesco the other day, it was Hewlett Packard, half-price and had a flatbed scanner, I'm tempted to buy it :D I like HP printers, mine's an HP officejet all-in-one, the colours come out really well. In fact, I'm going to ring mr troo and get him to pick one up on the way home from work :D Hope he's got his cashpoint card on him
