Just had a sausage sandwich for lunch as we have been for a long walk to MIL, DM, DS and aldi for carrots for the reindeers! ;) We needed to wear off some of DS's energy as he was buzzing. Worked a bit too.
    :T
The chicken joint is thawing in the fridge.

Sprouts are to be peeled soon as I have had a bailey's.

Not doing anything too fancy for dinner tomorrow as I want to watch DS with his presents.

All the crackers are made and filled using the cracker kits bought last january sales. :D

  • Been to see Narnia this morning, lovely film, a bit scary in parts for my 7 yo though.
Kids are a bit over excited and have just confiscated a stupid gun type thing that OH had as a secret santa (I'd love to know who thought that was a good idea!) as kids are running round the house with it and me trees wobbling...

My mum has just arrived with bags, (OH's excuse to go outside and clean out the guinea pigs) and will probably go home on boxing night if she can stay sane that long.

Turkey crown is defrosting, just veggies to prepare later.
I am going to have a relax with a baileys coffee and "Miss Marple" and me fluffy scarf to knit, and carols from kings later (I love carol concerts)

Christmas day is at home with a visit from the out laws in the morning, (as is OH's 40th birthday tomorrow - not just Jesus birthday) Have to sneak down later when he is in bed to hang up balloons and banners, kids have made a big 40 to hang, so he wont forget!

Boxing day is a meal out with My mum and OH's family, treat from FIL.
Day after is a visit to friends and a meal out with them, parents included too.

:xmassign: Have a lovely relaxing, peaceful Christmas everyone, Im so looking forward to and Old Style 2006.

Finally got the tree up this morning :D

Am now on stage one of my wouldn't-be-Christmas-without-it routine - sitting down with a glass of Baileys and thhe King's College carol service on Radio 4.

Off to Central London to sing at midnight mass later, and will be staying over at priest's flat before singing tomorrow morning's service.
