  • :santa2: Morning all,

I have still to make in roads into the housework, My bedroom needs a good sort out today.

I bought a joint of beef from my butcher last week that I had not tried before, A Backrib of beef?. We cooked it Sunday, It was huge, and six carnivores had enormous helpings. I froze enough for another sunday lunch for six, and we also had some cold last night with mash and pickles. The thing is this joint only cost me 13.57 and was HUGE,:j but incredibly tender and really tasty. If you went to Tesco for your meat you wouldn't get the chance to try joints like this. I certainly give a big thumbs up to the Butchers.:xmassmile

Today, I haven't got a clue what i'm doing for dinner, probably sausages and mash, or toad in the hole.

Last night I iced and decorated Mums Christmas cake, and today I shall do ours. And I need to pack up mums Hamper for Christmas.

Oh well half an hour with a coffee and off to do some work

    have a good day everyone:rudolf:
  • Morning :hello:

I'm back in the office after my long weekend and preparing to get stuck in for the day.

Lunch will be reheated HM pork & pineapple curry with rice.

Dinner may be not exactly OS because I have a rehearsal tonight for Saturday's concert and am unlikely to be home much before midnight.

More later I hope, if my boss doesn't send me into a spiral of overwork.

    Rzl xx

At work now (and have been for 25 minutes) but not many people about so decided I was safe to post ;)

Had porridge for breakfast but now feel a bit sick - going somewhere for work over lunch so had to bring the car in today and so didn't get much fresh air which might be part of it.

Caught up on the washing up last night as OH was mooping around saying he was tired so sent him to bed with a book and cleared the decks.

Tonights plan is Christmas card writing I think :)

And an early night - must get to bed before midnight :o

Hope everyone has a good day

not too good again today, am going to talk to the health visitor later as keep having horrendous mood swings, god knows what the neighbours think to me shouting at least once a day.
I think my 6yo dd is picking up on it as she is being a little maddam at the momment and not making life any easier. I had to dress her this morning whiler she through a paddy , sdhe was still in tears and refused to leave me when i took her to school, I feel so guilty.
have managed to tidy the lounge and now have to start the washing pile that has grown to immence proportions, do the dishes also rather a lot, they didn't get done yesturday also need to hoover, clean bathroom and try and tackle the kids room, doubt I will get any of it done the way I'm feeling, but I will try.
lunch sarnies tea whatever I pull out of the freezer, probably stew.
    hugs to all

  • What is it with men?:wall:

He's just phoned up from work, and whilst talking I said that I'm having a tough day trying to clean the house with a toddler who keeps untidying it and having tantrums in the process. Leave it he says, i'll help tonight, we'll get it done together.

This from a man who I beleive is having an affair with the sofa since saturday:mad:
and has barely lifted a finger to help

Up early this morning as had a hair appointment before work, so there's £17 pounds gone - last time it was £23!!!

Collected photos yesterday, put them in for the longest period of time, so only cost £2.99 instead of around a fiver!:xmastree:
