    Hi All,

Have just come back from a driving lesson and my instructor has told me I'm ready to book my test :j :j Only 43 hours and £804  later. Probably be another £200 by the time my test rolls around as there is currently a 9 week wait!!! Be cheaper to buy the car than it was to learn. But have come to the conclusion that my independance/freedom is priceless so am going for it. Only because DH was made redundant this timel ast year so we have the money put to one side

Blacksaturn - Have fun at your photo shoot, it sounds FAB.

Off to change now as have a kiddies xmas lunch to go to soon.

  • Hey

Washing was finally dried in TD..sorry, but just too cold to dry outside here today. OH emptied DW for me as I dont have much energy today. Have made several much needed phone calls :p

DD has her Xmas party tomorrow, so have sorted out a bag of mixed tinned choccies we have here-only have to give enough for 5 kids-so have put in 25 (5 each) also will probably have to bung some frozen sausage rolls in too.

Lamb stew smells lovely and am just about to have a bowl with a buttered roll....yummy!!

    Hello everyone

Today is the day that I was dreading - the day my beautiful sweet little Tabitha cat passed away. She was 18 and had thyroid problems, but over the weekend she lost so much weight and she suddenly became just skin and bone. She also developed a strange smell and I suspected that it was her kidneys rather than thyroid. I knew in my heart that her time here was almost gone and I had to help her end her suffering. I took her to the vet just half an hour ago. He agreed, her kidneys had given up and that it would be so much kinder to give her a calm and painless departure. She was my special little friend for so many years, she was so loving, loyal and gentle the very least I could do was to ensure she didn't go through any needless or pointless pain. So she is gone. I'm heartbroken though I know it was the right thing, the responsible thing, the most loving thing I could ever do for her.

  • Well im back but by no means better :D

Im really sticking to my diet quite well this week, altho i was bad and skipped breakfast.

Vegetable soup brought from home for lunch, gonna nip to the canteen to buy an apple and a breadroll (havent been out the house to do shopping, i had a panic attack in b&q when it was quite quiet so i dont want to risk going to busy supermarket 2wks before christmas)

Tea will be homemade pasta with sauce and fresh home made garlic bread. I think ;)

Will have to lend some more money off OH for the rest of the week and i have my works christmas lunch on friday but i think i deserve a treat after all ive been through lately.

Will post back later as im about to go for lunch.

Can i just say a REALLLLLY big thanks to all those of you who have asked after me. For anyone who didnt want to pry, i was mugged on friday night, dont want to go into it more than that but im back here trying to get back to my usual self with my OS friends :)

    love you all :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Snowyowl - sorry to hear about your cat, it's such a rotten decision to have to make, isn't it.
Ancasta - sorry to hear about your difficult time, too
    (((hugs))) to both of you

Oh ((((((((((SnowyOwl)))))))))))))) I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. My best friend has just been through the exact same thing with her faithful (if slightly grumpy!!) and much loved cat. She was able to have him cremated and has sprinkled his ashes under the tree in her garden where he liked to doze. Maybe you could do something similar? In any case, I'm thinking of you - you absolutely did the right and loving thing, and for that I'm sure Tabitha is grateful.

And (((((((((((Ancasta)))))))))))) Oh love, what can i say. I'm sorry, hope you're ok physically and healing mentally. Take care of yourself and let your oh pamper you and make a fuss of you for a bit.

Hope everybody's days get better from here on in.

    Take care of yourselves

    Love
