You might get sme for the depression. It depends if you need help. Do you need someone to remind you to wash or eat? Do you need someone to go out with you?
If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!

Please, please make sure that someone such as CAB help you fill these forms in as they know how to word this properly!

How does any of the above make you 'disabled'
  • To be entitled to DLA it is based on your care and mobility needs, rather then what the condtions you have. You need to have been suffering with these conditions for three months or more. I would recommend you go to the cab for a form filling appointment. Remember that there are time limits to get your form sent back which is the date stamped on the front of the form.
  • its bcoz iam 12 stone over weight affects my mobility, and i need watched 24/7 2 make sur i take my tablets and dont try killing myself again.

if you can walk 10 metres without stopping you'll not be entitled to the mobility allowance.

I don't think you will be entitled to the mobility but may be entitled to care component.

Has your GP referred you to try and get help to lower your BMI? It's is very high and if you got it lowered then your asthma would defo improve and it would also help your depression as you would be able to be more mobile and get out and about a bit more.

Very strange as well that the doc has given tamazepam when you have already attempted suicide.

You clearly have alot of issues going on which I hope you are getting addressed via your GP.

Agree with others if you are going to apply then I would get the CAB or an Advice Shop to help.

you're not this persons doctor, evidently, so why comment on their medication?! It's rude and unjust. You may think that it's strange that the doctor has put the OP on that medication, but evidently the doctor has had a justifiable reason for doing so. If anything, you're looking for an argument or for the OP to doubt themselves and their doctor.

Maybe it's "very strange" tha you have such an opinion on other peoples medication and medical background...

  • Why not just apply for DLA ?

They can only say no. If you don't ask you don't get.

Hope all goes well for you
