I made this the other day and it was yum, would be easier with sausagemeat so you dont have to faff around taking the meat out of the skin and perfect if you're looking for a stew-type thing http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/9527/fragrant-pork-and-rice-onepot
Or you can mix it with a packet of sage and onion stuffing and a grated apple or onion and make sausage rolls or a pie, or make little balls from the mix and wrap in bacon and bake. HTHSo, there are these boys,

Make a sausage plait..
A rectangular piece of short pastry, rolled out.
Mix the sausagemeat with a few herbs like sage or mixed herbs.
Place the sausagemeat in a roll down the centre of the pastry:).
Cut the sides into bits like slice, slice, slice, not to thin.
The plait them over the sausagemeat from the one side to the other..left, right, left, right.
Brush with egg yolk, place on a baking tray and bake at gas mark 7 until cooked.Felines are my favourite

On Jamies Meal in 30 minutes the other night he made a lovely looking sausage ragu pasta dish. Looked very nice, basically used the sausagemeat instead of beef in the sauce and cooked for less time. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Hi JenniO,
The sausage meat plait sounds lovely! I'll add your thread to the one that Meadows mentioned later to keep the suggestions together.

Hi,
I make a sausage and potato pie
- Par boil potaoes cut into smallish chunks and set aside. Slice and onion or 2 (depending on size) and gently colour in a large frying pan, add in you sausage meat (just pull off little chunks and chuck in) and fry til colouring round edges and some dried herbs (mixed or thyme or whatever you have to hand) add the potatoes and put into a pie dish, I usually make such a large pie it goes in a lasagne dish. Top with pasty, suet is my fav but use shortcrust or puff if you prefer eggwash and bake til done. This makes a really hearty meal, particularly if you use suet pastry and is fantastic for hungry folks who've been working all day or out on a lovely wintery walk.0
