    What number did you get hold of Kyle on? Was it the 08458 400 400? When I phoned yesterday I was told that no managers work over the weekend!

    Yes, it was. I spoke to someone in the call centre first, she told me the same old stuff, and again, "don't worry", so I asked for a supervisor, and the lovely Kyle came along. He also said not to hesitate to ring again if I had any more problems over the weekend. Nice guy.

    i recieved what i think is a standard letter they have sent out, saying it is being sent back to bank, and any charges ect blah will be refunded. i am hoping it is a standard letter as i wrote to them earlier in the week with a stiff complaint and i wouldnt be happy if this is the reply. some of the letter is badly written and missing some words in sentences. has anyone else had a letter???

    Looks like the last promise was a load of rubbish. Still not refunded the cash by midnight last night... I'm going to send a secure message via their online system telling them to ring me Monday asap.
  • Yeah I got the same letter and, surprise surprise, no money in my account by midnight Friday.

    I have also sent (recorded delivery) 2 complaint letters and, so far, not received a reply to either.

    i have just tried to send another secure message stating clearly that if i get no action on this within the next two days i am going to take legal action against them, guess what i tried it twice and each time i got the message your session has timed out so the messages were not sent, just another ploy i think to stop the bombardment of complaints they are recieving.

    i absoloutly hate cap 1 now and it shows they have no idea of customer service and im sure now it has been 16 days since i paid they are breaking the law!

    I had that problem as well with the secure message timing out, however if you type it as normal then copy it, then log back in go straight to Secure Message Centre then paste it and click send it should work then!
  • Just checked my internet banking today and, guess what, still no sign of my money from Capital One! This is getting beyond a joke!
