yes they are rude but i think its a standard reply, i got my last reply at 5.30am so its not coming from the uk!! same old same old reply, they will get a bl**dy shock when they get my letter.self confessed 80's throwback:D

also make sure you havent paid more than once sammie, thats whats been happening but they deny they have it yet its deducted from your account/debit card:mad: check your bank account quick!!self confessed 80's throwback:D

Thank louise, I did check my bank account after every time I tried lol! Thank god for internet banking is all I can say!
When I finally managed to pay it it showed as being taken on my bank account only seconds later. It's showing only once.
Thing was I had to pay last night even though my Due date isnt until 15th, because my bank card is due to expire on the 12th due to their mess about changing my maiden name to my married name on my card! I've been waiting 3 weeks and still dont have a new card!0 -
the banks are so naughty arnt they!! as soon as we muck up we have to pay for it 12 admin charge!! i have sent a bill off to cap 1 for three of these cheeky i know but they do it us!! lol see if i get it eh!self confessed 80's throwback:D

I've had a secure message today saying the £200 I paid has been credited back to my bank account and should be there by 4 October - it isn't. Furious, I rang them again, pointing out that I didn't want it refunding, and that it WASN'T in my bank. I was told, and I quote - "don't worry, we're sorting it out, it will be there soon". She told me that was all the information she had, so I asked to her to find someone who had more.
Her supervisor (British) then came along and told me there had been a problem with all the payments made that day, all the money had gone into the suspense account and couldn't be identified (that's why we had to send proof of payment in). As such, they couldn't apply the payments to Cap One accounts so had to refund them all by CHAPS. Mine SHOULD have gone back by the 4th, but they had another problem, and it should be back with me by this Friday. She's crediting me with £5 for phone calls, and £5.06 for interest charged.

so not only do they !!!! up on you paying them, they also !!!! up on them paying you back!! and i might add all for compensation just a little less than the usual £12 charge they would have charged you if it had been your error!!!
i cant wait till mine is sorted then closing account, the ,imit is useless to me cant even pay a holiday deposit for two with it!! and as far as im aware they only increase once when they promise on 4th statement then never again.
so im afarid it complain and get sorted then bye bye cap 1 for me!!

My situation is that I had TWO extra payments taken but not credited to my Cap One account and faxed my bank statement extract to them and last week got a secure message saying that the payments were being credited back to my account .hasn't happened yet but usually these things take a few days .0

still no credit to my cap 1 card account its been 10 days since i paid and it came out of my account, no reply to fourth secure message, and just waiting for reply to formal complaint sent with bank statement and thier first secure message saying they had it!! sent by post yest recorded so will have to see, bet they dont reply in time for the charges of late payment to be added but then the feathers will fly litterally!!self confessed 80's throwback:D
