capital one payment

I have just realised that the Two Extra Payments of £21.23 made by online debit card payment are shown on my Cap One account as " Payment Adjustments" As they are not large amounts I'd be quite happy to let that situation remain as it reduces my balance with Cap One .
Has this happened to anyone else or are they just floating around in the ether ?

Another quick update from me. Yesterday, I got a letter date 9th October from Capital One telling me the money would be in my account no later than 10th October (4 days previous!)

I had an appointment with my solicitor today, he could not believe their conduct. He took copies of all letters I have both sent to and received from Capital One, and has written them a formal lawyers letter advising them that all dealings with me now have to go through his office. Surely they won't ignore a lawyer's letter but, given recent events nothing would surprise me!

OMG!!!! this is war now!!!

the 0800 number i put in my previous post is for thier dept that deals with overlimits and non payment, i have had my online service restricted ( they have took the account maintainance tab off) due to non payment on time and this has somehow sent credit limit over???

!!!!!! are they doing, i am furious !!!

bloody cheek they have my payment have had since 28th sept floating around somewhere in outer space!!

apparently it has gone over because they have charged me £12 for late payment, then cos that took it over, (by 50p) they have charged another £12 for being over limit!!!!

i am not ringing again i cant understand a flamin word!

Hi Everyone,

An update from another call to Steve at Capital One in Nottingham. He had called me on Monday to say the payments would definitely be in by today, however they did not. The problem is the amount of payments they are having to process. They are using HSBC, and HSBC are saying they do not have enough staff to deal with all the payments. HSBC are charging Capital One for all the extra staff required, and thier overtime.

Steve creditied another £50 to my account (That makes £100 now) and said he would not promise a date it will be in the account, but he hopes it will be Friday.

Got paid today, but still not out of my overdraft, and I am still adding up the intrest! I will bill them at the end!

thanks pug wash, i have rung and got £10 credit on my account to cover the calls to india, i reckon i could have got more had i been more irate!!
