:jReally glad to hear you've got a house sorted out. This will give you the focus you need to move on to a better future for you and your children.
Of course you will have doubts, especially with your husband being amicable at present but as yoni_one says, this is only a small part of his character and you have to stay strong and remind yourself of the not so good times when you are filled with 'if onlys' and confusion.
You come across as a sensible, caring person who has tried their utmost to make this work and I am sure that you WILL survive this next stage with the same determination and strength. Don't be afraid to ask for support from family/friends etc.
With regard to living alone - it will seem strange at first but you will soon settle into a routine. You already enjoy the 'peaceful evenings' so undoubtedly your stress levels will continue to fall over time, as will your children's and you will no doubt find your time taken up with them.
Just take one day at a time and stay strong. As always, good luck0 -
