OH will chop some onions, fry them off, add value curry sauce and left over meat. He also makes his own naan breads which are yummy (and dead easy!)Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Mr S in Chelmsford is charging 44p, I was going to try it so I can get the jars but that is a bit much especially given the previous price. I love Mr T's on oven chips for a naughty treat when I feel like being a slob!0

I've noticed that all the value ranges have gone up, and not just in MrS. In my opinion it is blatantly ripping people off in these hard times . A lot of people have been following Martins advice and dropping a food level, so more people have started to buy value ranges so the supermarkets have put all the prices up. I complained a couple of months ago to MrS head office and I was told it was due to the increase in petrol etc, but now petrol is at a two year low I'm still seeing increases and no decreases. What has everyone else noticed.0 -
Your so right sheeza and i even work in the office for mr s .They dropped prices alot about 7 weeks ago and i thought yeah price war on basics just what i need ,but now a 4000% increase .There can be no justification for this ,its a (to use your words ) rip off .
Even with my discount its time to shop else where .Life is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -

My Mr S was 44p last week, now today it's back down to 19p not on special offer on anything. I bought one to try and see if it's as good as Mr T's!0

I have tried both, normally buy the T's one but I much prefer the Sainsburys one. It is quite spicey comparted to the other and you get more in the jar than in the T's tin.0
