Has anyone tried adding veg stock to it? I do this with Tesco korma sauce for vegetable curry and that's lush! But didn't know if this would work with the curry sauce, I have quite a few in the cupboard as also thought they seemed handy!

Well, I do rinse the jars out with a drop hot water, so I don't see why you couldn't rise them out with your veg stock. Just don't use too much until you see how thin/thick it is after you've added any other ingredients.

I use Asda's Curry Sauce at 4P a jar, its very similar to Homepride's cook in curry sauce. I'm using it tonight to make a chicken curry, I usually add sliced pepper, onion, and mushrooms along with the chicken. I serve it with rice and a few chips (naughty I know, but I lurvve chips and curry lol)

dont know if this works out cheaper, but our tesco have started selling Goldfish brand curry past for £1.49 for a 450g tub, it is a paste you mix with water and makes like a chinese curry sauce. all you need per portion is a tablespoon,so it lasts for ages. its really nice with a tin of stir fry veg (that was 5p;) ) and chicken if feeling generous!

I loved the idea that I read of about putting a jar of 4p curry sauce in a HM lentil & veg soup. Lovely!
