Shop around folks.. stores do tend to lower their prices according to competition.. like if say Mr t charges 50p for something and mr s says oh we will charge 25p.. then mr t will match it or better and vice versa, depends what stores and special offers you have in your area.

I wish I lived somewhere where there was say a Mr A. S & T.... mostly cos i don't drive I am stuck with T or a long walk to S or a tube ride or several buses to other stores

Hi all,

i have bought a tin of tesco value curry sauce for 15p and want to make a nice veggie curry recipe. has anyone had any success using this sauce and can you give me any veg curry recipe ideas for using it?

1 sweet potato
some cauliflower
diced carrot
handful of red lentils

add tin of curry sauce and some water, and if you have these spices handy a bit extra will enhance it....pinch of cumin, cayenne, turmeric, salt and pepper. simmer 1 hour. hth x

If you haven't tried both then if you like yours on the spicy side then I would buy the Sainsburys one.

Is the Tesco Value sauce like chip shop curry sauce? Just trying to find a curry sauce for home made chips!

Burp no it's not like Chinese curry sauce but still similar and nice all the same. I'd say it would work with chips
