tesco.com, Wines of the Loire mixed case quantity mistake [CLOSED]

Received a credit invoice from Tesco today stating that they had refunded my card with £5 - I didnt even realise until just now that they had charged anything to my card!!!

I wish I had known this the other day when I was onto CS - could've used the extra ammo.

Box of 6 delivered. No money taken from bank account yet! Invoice attached to order says £24 due

Well so far I've paid £104 for 6 bottles of wine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have no idea why I received only 6 bottles tonight, as it's in stock and back on website at £48 for 12!

Have now had to order another 12 bottles at £48 + £5 del. for next week, as they can't deliver just 6!!!:rolleyes:

Therefore I will have paid out £157 for 18 bottles!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to laugh and tell the poor THIRD exasperated CS girl that even if I'd won the lottery I couldn't justify spending that amount on wine!


SO..................3rd CS girl is getting onto the store tomorrow am as soon as she starts her shift, to get my initial £75 refunded. She's going to refund me £17 tonight at her end, and then I have to ring her extension next week when I receive the 12 bottles to get a further £29 refunded!

So fingers crossed, I SHOULD end up with 18 bottles for £36! But of course I'm not holding my breath, especially after I told them that Virgin Wine were MUCH better!!

I know its been a total c**k up. We have had 12 bottles and so far only been charged the delivery charge

Well, Iv'e had a case of 6 delivered today and am having £12 refunded from my £24 paid. I was given the chance to order a second case of 6 to do the same again with free delivery. Having looked at the wines I can't face going through all that again so am just sticking with the one case at effectively half price. Thanks redfox.
Oh also got refunded back £5 delivery charge for which I had actually used a voucher and gained £10 code on offer when I had to reorder....so all in all (hic) quite happy.

I rang Tesco's to ask when I'm getting my other 6 bottles or £12 refund :xmassmile and the CS man asked me for my password for home shopping so he could check my order to see how many bottles it said on the order. I refused. Has anyone been asked this too?

hee hee im drinking a bottle at the mo and its doing the trick!

BUT I wasn't able to get another 6...................like I SHOULD have got, had to reorder 12 cos system wouldn't let her do it!
