I ordered 2xW1900, 1xW2600 on 28/11, didn't get them and was promised vouchers on 11 Dec.

Sent a very angry mail to Dell yesterday.

Prior to the mail I called India and things went well initially - got put through to Kelly in Ireland and she was checking on what Dell are doing for me when I got cut off.
That's when things got nasty. I called India again to be reconnected and a stupid liar told me that "It was not possible" to transfer calls to Ireland and tried to get me to tell her the details as if this was a new incident.
After telling her I knew she was lying and what I think of her and some of her colleagues I hung up.

Then sent the mail referring to Lie 1 about problems with the Credit Card payment (I have this recorded as an mp3) and Lie 2 about transfers to Ireland.
(I know Dell read this thread and I don't care, they know and lots of MSE readers and other Dell Hell victims know that Dell employ people who will lie on their behalf).
Mamtha rang, apologised and promised to check what had happened to the vouchers. She really wanted to help but reading between the lines the Indians seem almost frightened to say the anything that will implicate Dell or cost Dell money.
The only useful thing she said is that the vouchers are paper and can be used against any Dell product.
I will be sending confrontational mails to Dell every day ufn.

Buy another TV and receive a £150 refund but does it have to be a Dell??

From what I have heard it has the best connections for the money

I emailed Gillian my invoice last night and got a responce saying that she has arranged for a refund of £150 to go back onto my credit card within the next 10-14 days so hopefully they are true to their word.

My Tv has arrived today from Aria but working late most of the week so probably wont be able to test it out properly until the weekend and I will post my findings

I emailed her about 3am this morning with my receipt and she got back to me today at 10 am with the details of my refund.

I emailed her about 5.30pm last night and got a reply including my reference number for my refund back by 5.45pm. I have been using the tracking options through Microsoft Outlook so I can check to see if they are reading the emails as some emails I sent to the customer care tem were being deleted without being read.

Just quickly checked my TV (about 2 minutres of testing) and am very satisifed with it, I have only connected it to a DVD player using a very very cheap scart lead that came with my Targa DVD player.

Will do a better test of the system at the weekend when I get some time
