They should be able to reduce it but it would be on a new tariff with less minutes or texts depending on what you choose. Vodafone probably won't reduce thje cost of the tariff while still keeping you on the same minutes & texts. Best bet is to call and negotiate to see what they'll do.0 -
Wrong. Once they confirm a dealer is down they WILL keep you on the same tariff at reduced cost (half-price if they deal with this as before) AND without restarting the contract. Anyone on Vodafone will learn to appreciate the difference between them and the other networks, however.
This has all happened a number of times in the last 8 months. I suggest people stuck with this outfit find and read the thread on Mobile Affiliates in order to gain a clear and accurate picture of their likely options - as well as the things they should NOT do!0 -
I don't think it is clear yet if there is any money available at all even if it is just a few p in the £.
We need to find out if claims need to be made as per the cashback T&C or whether all cashback now becomes due (or be it with no funds available) as in the mobile affiliates case. With mobile affiliates t-mobile generally gave a £5 pm discount. Also if you have the web n walk add on it may be cancellable?I think....0 -
Does anybody have any advice if its still worth going through mcol etc, since P2UD have obviously gone into liquidation, its 45 days since my first claim, but not sure if its actually worth paying for mcol, warrants etc, as I guess its very unlikely I will get any money back as I am sure the cashback crew is at the very bottom of the list of creditors.
But wanted to see if others had they same view or actually think its worth chasing
Thanks in advance

Re Vodaphone- I was paying £35/mth for 500 minutes and 250 texts. Best they have offered me is £25/mth for 225 mins and 100 texts or 150 mins and 500 texts. This is plenty for me but may not be for everyone. They did say they are still telling people to go to Trading Standards if they have had the contract less than 9 months, but let me change even though I'm "only" at 8 mths.0

Just got a phone call from them and they said they cant do anything for me ,i've to contact the company or trading standards. He said to try again in a couple of weeks. He never mentioned length of contract to me although i'm only 6 months in.0

I think it's pretty standard if you are more than 9 months into a contract with Vodafone you can lower your tariff to the cheapest one they have to offer. You can even do this yourself online.0
