Many, like me, also claimed correctly: on time, full bill, special delivery and cover letter. But didn't even get a whisper back from the company. Unless bringing in the bailiffs counted as the correct cashback procedure of course...
My claim will probably enter judgment by default this week, but now its not going to give me even the 1st cashback... Just wasted money.
If anyone goes to the creditors meeting I hope you can have a word with Dave Ellis, the director. Ask him how his BMW M3 is doing...0 -

I am sure if whoever he bought his M3 from is a creditor then he will be using some other form of transport as it will be going back if it hasn't already.0 -

sucks
Meeting on 21st!! Should have known when they put on their court admission that they will pay me on the 25th!
I doubt very much that they'll be returning any of their cars etc. Probably paid themselves BIG salaries throughout P2UD days and things bought with that they dont have to pay back I guess.0 -
Went to court of Friday - guess I won't be seeing my £75.00 hearing fee or costs again either. There was me feeling smug that I had a small victory in court.0

Assuming that P2UD get wound up is there anything people who have potentially valid cashback claims and have not received their money can do to get even a part of the money they are potentially owed back ?
I can probably guess what the answer will be as a company like P2UD will have few assets and I guess that P2UDs management knew for a long time that insolvency was an inevitable outcome and have made plans as such for this.

I don't expect this at all, after the (probable) huge payment to the liquidator and all other priority ones are done (if even any other else are made) we'll all be way down on the list.
Like you said management must have already taken steps to minimize any inconvenience to them.. I wouldn't be surprised if any assets are already at some other co(n)mpany!0 -

As is was a victory that undoubtedly help put this lot out of business, I think you are entitled to feel a degree of smugness.
It is only because this company were being taken to court repeatedly that they are no longer around to con others, so your action was very important.0 -
Thanks Gin and Tonic - your right and that does make me feel better. You have also made me think of something else that will make me feel better - a gin and tonic! So with the kids safely tucked up in bed - that is what I will do!0

My daughter's 2nd cheque arrived Friday, though we did have to pay a £1 surcharge as their PPI account is suspended for non-payment!!
As before she had to chase them throught the courts. I wonder if her cheque paid in Saturday will now clear?0 -
Bummer, I had issued two warrants at a cost of £55 each over the weekend which were actioned today.
What's the best thing for me to do, will the bailiff's be able to get any money out P2UD before the 21st, and will this make me a creditor and entitled to anything that's left? Or would I be better trying to get MCOL to refund me, although online it'sshowing that the warrant was issued today and sent to teh bailiffs at the local court....
I could have coped without the cashback I suppose (still one claim outstanding after this one) but the fact I just paid £110 at the weekend for the courts to send a piece of paper out is a bit rubbish.0
