My advice is to steer clear of these guys. I had a cashback deal with them and followed their instructions to the letter for claiming the cashback. I sent my bills back to them within the 14 days, via recorded deliv, so knew they had arrived. They don't have a phone number for you to ring, and they ignored the several emails I sent to them. My advice is do not buy anything from them.

I have used dial a phone for a 12 month free cashback deal (twice ) and have recieved my money no problem. They send an email confirming 'redemption recieved' and my t & c say redemption within 28 days.

Never thought to check how long they give you to redeem so i guess i've been fortunate but will definately check this in future deals.
  • All well n sorted now..

Got a phone call from some big cheese over there, all done.

    Hi,

Does any one know if it works?

I had 12months free contract with phones2udirect. I sent them 6th bill instead of 7th. However, by the time they got back to me, it was too late to submit the 7th bill.

I made loss on my 1st cash back. Ok I agree it was my fault not reading t&c in detail and sending submit correct invoice.

Anyway, as mentioned in their t&c that subsequent claims are dependent on acceptance of previous claim. Claim instalments are invoices for month 6, 9 and 12. As I did not submitted my 7th bill (i.e. for first installment), would my claim for month 9 be qualified as 1st installment as I did not claim for month 6?

I would appreciate if someone with legal knowledge could please advice whether is it worth claims cash-back for month 9 and 12?

    thanks

    Who are securephonesales.com?

I get emails from them that are "signed"

    Firstname Lastname
    Customer Services Email Team
    T-Mobile

When I reply though, I get an auto response from P2UD. Why is that?

I think I have a court case coming on. Are any of you prepared to provide a statement for me confirming that you also have not been able contact them?
  • Has anyone successfully obtained their cashback without supplying the original postal invoice? I carefully put all the paperwork together (including getting an e-mail confirming that I had ported my number) and sent the correct invoice etc at 6/12, but used my e-mail confirmation as original proof of purchase, not the original invoice (which I seem to have lost). I am now trying to decide whether to place a small claims against them. My view is that the demands of the terms and conditions are inappropriately stringent, and they are cynically designed to catch people out. It would be interesting to know what percentage of cashback claims they actually honour.

If other are able to say they have succeeded in obtaining their cashback in similar circumstances to mine, that would motivate me to press on.

did you tell them you had lost it? if not just maintain you never recieved it & it must be a deliberate ploy of theirs so they can refuse cashback payments.

I am same as you.cashback rip-off,I also got phone from mobilesdirect and took out 18 month contract with them,(never again).I also sent my first page of my phone bill when ask to do so and have only received some of my cashback back(£38).I am fed up with making phone calls to them and e-mailing them and get no satisfaction from them.I will be phoning them soon about my cashback.
