Hope all the poorly mummies & babies are feeling better? Think Imogen has finally fallen asleep after taking her room to pieces for an hour since I put her up there. Not upset, just destructive and in to everything! She can even get things out of her drawers despite the drawer locks. Seems the 1.5 inches they open are just enough for little hands if she's in that mood!

OH isn't working all weekend, so we get to have two straight days of family time, hurrah! Since we got back from hols 2 weeks ago I've spent 3 days at mum's and 2.5 days on a course, then OH worked last Sunday, so we've barely had a minute. Phew!
We're going shopping (to a local outlet, makes me feel very :money: ). I need a new dress as my team has been shortlisted for about 4 awards and I'm going to the 'do' in early November. This outlet has a Coast discount shop, which I LOVE! I'm about 1/2 stone heavier than I really want to be right now, so might not buy anything tomorrow, but perhaps a slightly tight dress would be the motivation I need... I know it doesn't sound like much, but I'm only 5'3" so it makes quite a difference to my waist-line.

It also has a Clarks outlet, which is useful 'cos I think Imogen's feet have grown, again.

Think I've added the smiley to the name of the thread as requested, but not sure if I've understood properly?

Have a nice weekend all.

Coast outlet, I love Coast. Where is this, I don't have anything to buy for presently but I'm sure I could find a reason to wear a new coast dress :rotfl:
• This morning I was leaving Ds to nursery (whilst I have today off to pack and get ready for holiday tomorrow). Anyway, as I was leaving he looked at me, and then patted my handbag and said 'take' - so I took it off the peg. He then realised I didn't have my cool bag with lunch in it, so signed 'cake' and sent me into the kitchen for it...

Once I had both bags he happily got into the car and went to nursery...:D

Aww thats soo cute! My son (20mths) always insists that he takes all rubbish straight to the bin, me popping it on the side or in my pocket isn't good enough he finds it then stands at the baby gate saying "mummy door, Bin Bin" until I open it so he can get to the bin.
and when he has eaten and has food all over his hands he holds them up and says "Mummy mucky" My mum constantly comments "I don't know where he gets that from" AKA you two are so messy why don't you tidy the house!

Just have to share as I am so proud -

Alex learnt to roll over today! He is only 9 weeks old (3 weeks old going from his due date).

I couldn't stop smiling when he did it, even when I realised I can never turn my back on him again ...

Hi guys, had to cancel our trip to the zoo today as DS has had diarrhea over the weekend and it got much worse this morning anyone know of something he can eat that might firm things up? (he won't eat eggs in any shape or form) I've been letting him have a little gingerbread man, a weetabix and a probiotic drink in the hope that one of them will help some how!

:naughty:Just to add (as per rules on medical advice) I had spoken to the triage nurse at the doc's surgery and she said he didn't need to see Dr just keep him hydrated, I just couldn't remember what is best to eat as since the invention of imodium I haven't had to think about stuff like that for years! his little botty is almost completely red and he cries when we have to wipe it hence me wanting to stop food going through so quickly

he keeps taking his socks off which isn't so great now winter has decended upon us.
the answer to this problem is TIGHTS! Under trousers for boys, in primary colours.

It was the only answer for DS2, who would have lost all his toes to frostbite without tights.

I never really found as good an answer for DS3, who would never keep mittens on, and then cried because his hands were cold, but my mum did knit me some I could tie on!

And could I please just remind you all about

MEDICAL ADVICE

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this: Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on this forum as it’s not what this site is about. While discussing medical insurance policies, cheaper ways to see consultants, cashback for alternative health treatments and how to get specific medication cheaper (legally) are all perfectly acceptable we ask you specifically not to discuss what to do in the event of certain medical problems (please see this rule on the Health Board). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

My advice for when its getting cold is a nice snuggly all in one suit then they're stuck in it and they look all cute like maggie on the simpsons when she looks like a star :starmod::rotfl:
