I just went to investigate the More Than Card

    http://www.morethancard.com/marketing/splashpage_0005/index.html

It says earn upto 0.5% cashback :(
  • Well spotted on the More Than card - I phoned them up as I applied for this recently and had just sent the credit agreement back to them...

They said that yes the cashback has been reduced to a maximum of 0.5% for all customers >:(

They are now cancelling my application...
  • Weird,

I've just logged in to check my More Th>n Credit Card Features and it says:-

    Cashback reward on purchases: 0.80%

Maybe they'll send me a letter or something.

Anyway - my BT runs out in a few days so with this news, I reckon i'll be cancelling the card.
    Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
    Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
    Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
    ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)
  • Which card now offers the highest cash back rate ??

    Thanks
    Daniel

I called More Th<n and they confirmed that the cashback rate is 0.8% for existing customers and 0.5% for new customers.

I have been trying to apply for a Conran card for a while now, but the page appears to have been unavailable..

Anyone know whether it is being withdrawn, or whether the cashback rate has been dropped? Also any other means of applying other than via the web?

    Cheers
  • is that 5% AE Blue card still running from top of page one on this thread? The website still works but l'm on the phone to AE now trying to ask them about the offer and they have never heard of it.

I wanted to check out the link is legit as it links direct off a forum.
    Sense is not common.

I have a Citibank card that I use for purchases, that gives me 1% at the end of the year (max of £200)

  • Martin ,

Firstly fantastic site, I am already saving money.

I have found the Conran visa card site ( via MBNA card site ) which makes no mention of the 0.8% cashback offer but only of profit shares. I assume this is the card you refer to in the cashback section of your website, and the 0.8 is guaranteed at the moment. Already ordered my Amex Plat.

    Cheers
  • I'm still with Capital One Mastercard and it gives 1% cashback and has done for a few years.
My latest statement shows spending of £1,310.96 and £13.65 added to my cashback total this month!
Don't know if this is only for existing customers though.
