I was talking about you
Considering his grasp of the English language is better than yours, I don't see how you can call him a chav or a low life. He seems far better educated than you, my friend. We won't even begin to discuss the fact that he can speak more languages than you. Your definition of "thug" seems to cover anyone who disagrees with you.
You are exactly the type of person I was referring to in my earlier post. You're a supermarket snob who looks down on people who choose to shop more wisely. When you can't handle the debate, you resort to childish ad hominem remarks (such as calling Schamansky a chav/low-life/thug). You think that adding a winking smiley somehow justifies your immature insults. You throw insults at people, then claim to be the one being victimised. You, my dear, are the rude one here. You're also a marketing team's dream. (That's not a compliment, by the way). You know what they say about a fool and his money, right? Why are you a member of MSE?
Incidentally, don't be surprised if you find your car clamped in Aldi's car park. They're cracking down on people abusing their car parks. Oh, the humiliation of it....your car clamped outside Aldi!In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Wow such vitriol because I choose not to shop at three foods shops, when did they make it mandatory? I must have missed it.
No worries about the 4x4 being seen, its an underground car park;)0 -

I think the wink and smiley are to show she is joking. If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in0 -
That's not abnormal. Often a single bad experience with a shop, a restaurant, a company, etc. is enough to put people off for good.
good point
Although I still go to Sainburys - even though I think their pies are awfulAnd their morning rolls. And hummus. But they do sell stuff that I'm happy with, and are sometimes the most convenient option, so I do still go there when I have to.
:money: I heart Martin! :money:0 -
I bought a telly at Aldi this morning ... and some biscuits and a loaf as well. :cool:0

They do the best doughnuts!
I shop at Tesco, Sainsbury's and, like Mrs E, Waitrose and M&S, so shoot me now.
But I shall have a wander round a Lidl/Aldi next time I pass one.0 -

I can just imagine you loading your ecologically friendly hessian bags into your 4x4. I do so love people showing the consistency of their convictions.
One last thing for you to ponder; Class is something that cannot be bought and is never bragged about. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
