I don't buy ready meals from there normally, once in a blue moon. Their mince meat is very good though:D
Sorry, from what I've seen in my local M+S about 50% of the store is ready meals with only a limited selection of 'ingredients'. I apologise if other stores aren't like this... just going on my experience.
(I've also noticed that they do premade BAKED POTATOES. who the heck needs a premade spud!!)0 -

I use the Crawley one usually, its quite good.
I don't buy lots in there, even if I had the money to do a full weekly shop in there its not really possible in M&S.0 -

You boast on here about your car, your £4K holiday per, the money you waste on brand name stuff because you wouldn't be seen dead in Aldi/Lidl/Netto, yet not once have you thought that you're actually upsetting people here who can't afford the same luxuries. You are rubbing their faces in it and you couldn't give a damn.
It's OK. Not all of us value people on the stuff they buy and the size of their car (In fact, I think people who drive 4x4s solely around town are laughable idiots). I pray that if I ever have that money I don't turn into a capitalist ****.0 -

(I can call you sexist, however, as your comment was based on the mistaken assumption that I am male.) Much as you would like to convince people that you're being picked on by two horrible men, it simply isn't true.
One horrible man, one horrible woman then.
From what I saw, you called him a low-life chav thug first. You've persisted in your personal attacks, but don't like it when you get them back. Like I said, stop trying to play the victim in this.
My response to Schamansky was in defence because of his posts to me. Try reading it again.

My car "could" be an old M reg landrover, where did I brag?
I've never "boasted" about my ONE family holiday per year, would you car to direct me to where I have?
Love you to quote where I said this "wouldn't be seen dead in Aldi/Lidl/Netto"
Are you sure you are not mixing me up with someone else!!!!!0 -

Oh, I totally agree with you. The funniest thing about it is that they are so completely oblivious to the fact that most people are laughing at them.
I don't think I've posted my sig in this thread yet. It's about time I did.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

I know a few really loaded people (old and new money), and none of them has the urge to let it all hang out or put others down. Especially not those who worked themselves up from the bottom, without becoming capitalist ****. And quite a few of them shop at Aldi.0

IF I lived in a town I wouldn't bother with a 4x4.
But I do believe its up to the individual buying the car.0 -

Sorry MrsE the 4x4 comment wasn't aimed at you, just general discussion
(On the other hand I don't agree to the 'its my choice' kind of sentiment. 4x4s in towns are crass, dangerous, polluting, resource-hogging, pointless wastes of time. In my opinion)

Lets just be clear on this the ONLY personal comments I made on this thread were to Schamansky & ONLY because he goaded me into with his personal snipes at me.
I DO NOT (why the hell would/should I?) make assumptions about people based on where they buy their cornflakes. I would expect others to afford me the same considerations.
But Schamansky & MyUserNamesTaken seem to be on some sort of mission/witch hunt to make me look like a bigot
Be delighted if either of them could actually quote these rude comments I made (apart from retaliations to their attacks).0 -
