Are you two snobs referring to me?

Never claimed to be wealthy or anything other than working class.

You two really need to look at your own posts for snobbishness & prejudices:rolleyes:

Schamansky I think you will find that MSE does not allow racist posts.

The class & breeding of two gentlemen such as yourselves shouts loud & clear on MSE, are you always this rude to women on MSE?

There you go again, trying to play the victim in this. What makes it so hilarious is that you're claiming "sexism" when I'm female myself!

I think you need to look up definitions of the words "snobbishness" and "prejudice", as you clearly do not understand the meaning of either word. Look up the phrase "ad hominem" whilst you're over on dictionary.com, as you obviously failed to get my meaning when I used it in my previous post to you. All my comments are based on the information given here. I haven't seen Schamansky claim to be of any particular class or breeding. I know I certainly haven't claimed to be anything I'm not.

I think you'll find MSE does not allow people to post any personal attacks, including claims that someone is sexist/racist/a chav/ a low-life/a thug.

Thats a truly horrible comment :-(

I've posted about Aldi and shopping there, trying to give a balanced view.
I'm a hardworking woman on a strict budget, struggling to make ends meet without descending into debt - comments like this make me feel really low. :-(.
Money saving because you have to can get very wearing year in year out and comments like this just grind you down.

I'd love to be able to shop at M&S for all my food, I've treated my family with their meal deals for a tenner occasionally, but I can't afford to shop there usually.

That was for Schamansky, as he kept making nasty comments about me.

I HAVE NO WHERE ON this thread slated anyone for shopping at Aldi/Lild/Netto (why on earth would I? Its none of my business).

I have been rude to or about no one except my responses to two (so-called excuses for) men who have been very rude & nasty to me - I was even called white trash by one of them.

I didn't come on this thread to argue & have said nothing against anyone for shopping at Aldi/Lild/Netto.

I'm puzzled why I was singled out for a tongue lashing from them?

Avstar, you shop where it suits you, its no ones business but your own:D
BTW M&S are doing the 2 for £10 every fortnight till Xmas & on the weekends they are not doing that, they are doing lots of half price offers;)

But its OK for Schamansky to call me white trash?

Christ on a bike, quit that pathetic whining. It was only a joke. Just like your "low-life", "chav", and "thug" comment.

You're certainly better at dishing out to other people than at taking one on the chin yourself.

So much from Da Racist Thug, yo, homies.

Don't let idiotic comments get you down. I doubt any of the people on this thread are 'lowlife chavs/thugs' (at least by by definition ... i judge people by their actions not by their bank balance). Hell, if we're going to go 'branding' someone because of their shopping preferences I'd say M+S shoppers are snobs with more money than sense ;) (but I'm not going to, because I appreciate that their food is mostly good quality, and that some people genuinely want/need ready meals every day).

Personally I'd do all my shopping there if I could - vast majority of their products are better than the 'normal' supermarket equivalents IMHO. Unfortunatly they don't stock meat-replacements etc yet.

I don't buy ready meals from there normally, once in a blue moon. Their mince meat is very good though:D

Bah, Primark. That's for plebs lacking the class to employ their own personal tailor.
Though it's not as if rude, lowlife chavvy discounter clientele such as all those who post here needed to know.

What difference does your gender make? Another sexist remark from you, I see. Like I said earlier, you can't pull the sexism card against me - I'm female myself. (I can call you sexist, however, as your comment was based on the mistaken assumption that I am male.) Much as you would like to convince people that you're being picked on by two horrible men, it simply isn't true.

From what I saw, you called him a low-life chav thug first. You've persisted in your personal attacks, but don't like it when you get them back. Like I said, stop trying to play the victim in this.

Do you even realise that your posts are crass and offensive to those people who really do not have any choice in where they shop, as money is a real issue for them? You boast on here about your car, your £4K holiday per annum, the money you waste on brand name stuff because you wouldn't be seen dead in Aldi/Lidl/Netto, yet not once have you thought that you're actually upsetting people here who can't afford the same luxuries. You are rubbing their faces in it and you couldn't give a damn.
