As it was you who said they are "allowed to invoice you" I thought you might have some idea of the amount and rationale for the invoice? We all evolve - get on with it0 -
Very few of them are issued with regards to disabled spaces and then often to disabled drivers. PPC's are hardly in the position to adopt the moral high ground, pick a better arguement one you have a gnats chance of winning.
I'm not trying to win an argument for the PPC's. You don't know how all PPC's operate, so you are in no position to comment. The whole point is that if anyone who isn't disabled parks in a dissabled space then they do deserve a fine for being so ignorant and selfish. The legalities of it are probably wrong, and the invoice should be enforced in court. It is just another case of ignorant selfish people using a loophole.0 -

True - I don't park in disabled spaces because I am not disabled, not because some con man is going to attempt to invoice me. But you can ignore them, nothing is going to happen to you, no law against being ignorant and rude yet.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Why would I? I have enough repect for people less fortunate than myself to not park in dissabled spaces. And I don't work for a PPC. So I've never needed to know. Personally I think they should use secure clamps that can't be removed.0 -

Do you not think that supermarkets should take the time and trouble to use a system that is of benefit to their customers rather than employ the services of companies that lie and use scare tactics to attempt to force people into paying someting that they have no need to?We all evolve - get on with it0 -

And you don't work for a PPC either so therefore by your logic you have no position to comment from, so why not go and find a thread on a topic where you have some experience that may be of benefit to others? We all evolve - get on with it0 -

I think you'll find the ignorant ones tend to pay up, it's the informed that don't.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

there is ignorant of the law and ignorant of manners - I think it''s poetic justice that most who are one are the other too.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

If you don't break the parking rules set up by the supermarkets then there is no problem. I've never had a PPC use scare tactics against me or lied to me.0 -
