If so then we have a confirmed name and address then paypal must have sufficent information to pass on to the local fraud squad who will be dealing with this case. I trust someone who has been scammed has been in touch with the police, if not then may I suggest the sooner the better as this appears to be fraud on a large scale judging by the number of buggies he has sold. Im sure we all agree the quicker the CID get on this guys tail the better when the trail is still hot. Will paypal automatically inform the CID ? If I had been scammed I would be right on the phone to his local station in Uxbridge to register the complaint.

I am really sorry to hear about peoples dealings with this bloke. I actually sold to him at the beginning of August. The address was confirmed by PayPal and it is the address that has already been circulated.
Ebay contacted me today to tell me that
"A member with whom you've recently transacted has been indefinitely suspended from eBay within 90 days of registration. We have removed any feedback they left for you or others. "
If I can help in any way give me a shout!
I've emailed watchdog bt going to do it again as the situation seems to be escalating. I'm also going to try the News of the World!! They seem good at uncovering rogues and It will make a good story for them!No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -

If you read my long post earlier I discussed why I think this scammer started with prams. The fact is although electrical items are often scammed people no longer really fall for them in any great numbers so it is difficult to scam a lot of people out of a lot of money. People buying prams do seem more naive and trusting than those bidding in other categories, which is why I think this scumbag hit on you all, this was the easiest way of scamming a lot of people quickly.
If these had been phones he would have not got away with it as no one would have waited so long for their item and he would have struggled to get any sales with stock photos and low feedback. That to me suggests a 'professional' scammer he has worked a vulnerable and naive set of people, if he was prepared to play th elong game on this scam he must have had time to cover his tracks..has anyone searched yet to see whether the address is residential or business? How about calling th elocal police station or local paper in Hillingdon to ask if they can help..an editiorial in the local rag might turn up some info if someone is prepared to be interviewed.
