I really feel for everyone who has been scammed by this loser i was in the same situation around 18 months ago when there was a ghd scam!
Just to let everyone know i did inform ebay a few days after this bloke started selling this was a scam yet they did not listen so if they ever say they were not aware they were! stupid idiots...hope all gets resolved anyone still looking for a pram i sell them on a ebay and im a genuine seller!!!
I also informed ebay to no avail, they do not care, 90% of brand name goods on ebay are fake (ugg, nike, ralph lauren, etc etc) Ebay make massive profit from this business, as for paypal they suck to imo, it will be iteresing to see how good their "paypal guarantee" is in this instance, imo its not worth the ink its written with. Why does someone not register their complaint NOW with his local police force and start the investigation rolling ASAP, Actions talk louder than words. You have his name, address, phone no, email addy, fax no, website, (which is still live I see) what more do they need ???0 -
I started a thread on the ebay community boards looking for some advice it was named
"discount-buggies-online MAJOR SCAMMER BEWARE"
It was online for less then 5 mins, I received this email from the ebay moderation team, this has not been doctored in any way shape or form.
It has recently come to our attention that one of your posts on our Community
Boards breached our Boards Usage policy.
The public chat, help and discussion boards on eBay are intended to be a
helpful, educational and enjoyable place to meet and converse with other

It appears this user has been selling top end childrens buggies for
the past few weeks with a deivery time of up to 28 days. Now it
appears no one has received their buggies, some people were
fortunate to be refunded after I informed them of this scammer. Ebay
have shut his site down but he is away with £1000s of innocent
peoples hard earned. Where do they stand with this "paypal sellers
guarantee" The people involved have a thread on
moneysavingexpert.com site entitled

This would appear to be fraud on a serious scale, a few on them have
written to ebay, paypal and watchdog. I have told them to contact
his local police station in Hillingdon as we know his alleged name,
address, phone no, fax no, email addy, website etc etc. The scary
thing is he has a site http://www.discountbuggies.webeden.co.uk/
which is still live and scamming. How does this get closed down.
There are a few irate mothers to be on the thread I posted above and
I wondered if anyone on here could supply any useful advice about
bringing this fraudster to justice. Thanks in anticipation

THATS HOW HELPFUL EBAY ARE, I SAY EXPOSE THIS SCAMMER THEY SAY LETS PROTECT HIM HE HAS RIGHTS. JUST GOES TO SHOW HOW MAD THIS POLITICALLY CORRECT WORLD IS THAT WE LIVE IN TODAY.0 -
Those that initiate disputes within the 45 day time frame will receive a refund to the value on the listing.
Those that are outwith of the PayPal time frame for initiating disputes and who funded by a credit card should contact their card issuer and enquire about a chargeback.0 -
Those that are not able to generate a refund might find this guide useful.

Please take into account that eBay are just a venue, they are not party to any of the business dealings of their sellers.
They are only aware of problems when notified/when negs start to hit the sellers account.0 -

If the seller is Naru'd then eBay will remove all his past listings from the server and nothing will be viewable on Goofbay.
Goofbay is not a totally reliable source due to pulled listings.0 -
All those who have purchased via eBay can set up an eBay group.
It is imperative that those who visit the police do so armed with other crime reference numbers, so that information can be pulled together. To report individually without the correct information will make the investigation harder and will subsequently draw out longer.
Please be aware that you are not going to get a penny back from this person if you did not pay via PayPal or did not fund with a credit card if outwith of the time frame to claim via PayPal.
Initiate disputes and escalate immediately.
This advises on how to proceed with a dispute.

Thanks for the help & advice diva, you were the only one who had time to reply to my post on ebay before it got pulled. I posted earlier that someone needs to contact his local police station, lets hope someone does ASAP. Regarding ebay a couple of people on here emailed ebay with concerns about this seller but to no avail. Do ebay have to wait until the fraud takes place rather than try to avert it in the 1st place ?0 -

If you read the thread for at least part for the time the seller only had basic £150 paypal protection, so no, buyers are not automatically all going to get their money back.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Incidentally has anyone tried the police yet, what about the local paper or MP?

No soolin Im still here, I have mentioned previously this is the road ahead, I have posted the telephone no, smiling diva has posted an ebay thread with the same info about contacting his local cop shop. Maybe everyone is out looking for a new pram from a reputable seller before the new tots come along. Im sure someone will take us up on this, as I see it as being the obvious road to take.0
