What do you get for the 75p a month offer, i'm currently on the world package , basically all the channels £42 and also got Sky+ multiroom ( £10 extra a month), i got a 6 month half price deal, but ties me into a 12 MONTH deal. It works out £39 a month. I am considering down grading as i only really watch sky sports channels, does anyone know if all the england world cup games are being shown on terrestial tv, i would imagine they are but want it clarified. As the footie season is over i'd totally downgrade and await for some nice deals until the Ryder cup in September.

All england games will be on Terrestial. The 75p pack is any 2 sky channel packs.

Have a look at the sky website....basically its the £15 pack.

HAs anyone managed to cancel their subscription but keep sky+?
I love sky+ but don't watch channels other than those available for free!
I'd love to know if anyone has been cheeky enough to ask..... I'd definitely pay £10 a month just for sky+......

    fitorbust,

From replies that users have given in the past at https://www.digitalspy.co.uk, it is possible to have just a Sky+ subscription at £10 per month, but occasionally customers have had to escalate their calls to supervisors/managers, due to Sky staff being unaware.

My understanding also, is that any programmes recorded from subscription channels that you cancel, are lost at the same time as the cancellation of those channels takes effect.

    I did recently.

I tried to cancel my entire sky package but they told me i couldnt cancel my sky+ as I was in the initial 12 month period for sky+.

There is no reason why you cant cancel your sky sub and keep sky+ (you have to pay £10 pm) as long as you arent less than 12 months into your sky contract (ie you've been with sky for more than 12 months)

The offered me 6 months half price which i rather foolishly refused because if I take out their premium package at half price for 6 months then it would mean £10 for sky+ (which im paying anyway) and £10 for sports, movies and all the rest!!

PS - As mentioned by pen1. you will not be able to view any programmes you recorded from channels you no longer have access too!! I had to delete 10 movies I had saved because i could no longer watch them!!

edge,is this the first time you have had a half price offer,we finished our half price offer in april, just paid first bill back at 42.50,might try for the sport package!

pondie, yes this is the first offer that I have had from sky. Been plucking up the courage as i thought they might just say "ok, bye then" but now realise they don't want to lose custom.

they must have some sort of script to follow as it was only after the 2nd time i said i wanted to cancel that i got the 66p/pm offer. Initially all she offered was half price.

Dont know if i got a good deal or what but I was offered full family package at half price for 3 months £10.50 I think. I could have had the less channels for I think £7.50 but I stuck with the full just in case they are needed. I really wanted to get the 66p deal but it didnt happen. Was there anything I could have done to encourage them to give that one to me?

I spoke to one guy who put me through to disconnections and I just spoke to one person there all I told her was I wasnt using it enough and only when the grandchildren stay. How come I dont get offered the 68p deal?

I could call back and say I changed my mind I'm cancelling. I thought about saying my friend had the 68p offer so if they cant offer me the same I'd like to cancel then
    Thanx

Snap, I phoned up today to cancel the footy and just have the sky+ function for a tenner per month.

My reason was I only have sky for the footie, which is true.

66p for the next 2 months instead of £36.
