OH decided he wanted Sky Sports for the Lions Tour. Rang up to ask how much it would be for the Sports package to be added and was told a ridiculous amount. Told the agent it was too much and did they have any offers on at the moment. Came back with Sky Sports package for 3 months at half price. Result!!

I've been having picture problems for a few weeks now and rang today for some help. Both technical and customer services offered £65 for service call, £99 for sky+ or £49 for hd.

Asked for cancellation dept and after a while was offered a service call for £30, or sky+ for £30 inc installation. Opted for the sky+ box, its a refurb box of the last model so doesn't offer Sky Anytime but I'm ok with that.

Apologies if this is in the wrong place or has already been asked/answered, but I have been trawling through the internet (both these forums and elsewhere) for hours now with no success!

Currently my partner and I live separately but we are in the process of buying a house together and if all goes to plan should be moving in the next week or two. At the moment we both have Sky+ boxes and Sky subscriptions (I have all 6 entertainment packs, he has the same plus Sky Sports) and are trying to decide on the best way of continuing with Sky at the new house.

We would like Sky+ in two rooms with multiroom and currently there is no Sky dish at the new house as it is a new build. What is the best way of doing this? Tell Sky we are moving and pay their moving home charge or sign up as new subscribers at the new house?

Just to let everyone know now is the time to give the 1 months notice to cancel Sky Sports and/or Setanta Sports IF you only have it for the English or Scottish Premier League coverage as the season will be over.

I phoned Setanta today and got offered the £9.99 a month for 12 months.

Just got off the phone and they (cancellations dept) couldn't offer me anything at all. I said I'd had some problems with my sky+ box (I have) and the best they could do was chop down the £65 call out to £15.

No reduction in price apart from that.

How did you (previous posters) get 25% off!?!?

Into the final month of my sky+ contract, tried the landline number posted here and saynoto0870 but they no longer work. Called the 0870 number direct (instead of 0844) because its free on my basic BT line at weekends.

Anyway, only subscribed to 1 mix, said I wanted to cancel to save money/revert to freeview etc.. initially offered 7 pounds per month for next 3 months, I declined, came back with 5 pounds per month for next 4 months which I accepted.
