Freephone number for Sky - 0800 731 69650

Is there a link for Sky where I can discuss problems i.e. screen saying "searching for listings" etc?
Many thanks.0 -
If you get 'searching for listings' showing, just switch off your digibox at the mains for a few seconds, switch on again and it should re-set. Works with sky+ boxes as well.0

Have I blown it? I have Sky+ and rang the free phone number to try to "get a deal". I explained to some foreign guy that I wanted to reduce my outgoings due to "financial difficulties", he immediately put me onto a very nice Scottish lady who said "I understand you want to cancel your subscription". Unfortunately I went into panic mode and said I didn't want to cancel but needed to reduce my outgoings. Straight away she went on about doing away with Sky movies/sports channels to cut costs which isn't what I wanted. I told her I would speak to my better half and ring back, but she made a point of recording it on their computer. What do I do now?0

ring again and tell them that you did not wish to cancel last time you rang up but as soon as you said you wanted to reduce you got put through to cancellations you are disgusted with this as you are constantly seeing half price offers for new customers etc etc repeats etc etc pressure from other half also to reduce outgoings so in order to retain you as a customer could they make you an offer for say 3 months til you can manage to get finances in order and talk other half around
i was in similar situation and used these tactics she asked me what i was looking for and i said discount for a few months got 40 % off for 2 months but this is immediately after 3 months at half priceSave 12k in 2015 member 187. £62.50/60000 -
Interesting link to ECB website with Sky 'offers' for cricket fans!
http://www.play-cricket.com/content/view.asp?id=92561&cid=200
and another link:
http://www.ecb.co.uk/fans/escc/sky-offers-for-escc-members,700,BP.html
Apparently, if you join the England Supporters Ckt Club AND become an NPower customer, you get free membership of the ESCC (normally 45 quid), plus access to the Sky offers.
Any comments?0 -
Just phoned up to give 1 months cancellation notice and was offered 40% discount for 2 months, costing £25.50 a month. My 3 months 1/2 price offer is up on 6th March then my 2 month offer takes over from the 6 March until 6 May.
BTW, this was the only offer she would give me and never offered to terminate my service. She said as I already had 3 months 1/2 price, the next offer that would be available to me would be 2 months with 40% off.
Happy days as you are not supposed to be able to get Freeview in my area!0 -
