yes but you need a HD sub0 -
I'm looking at the VM XL package (TV/internet/phone) for £85 a month. Does this include sky movies/sports or are these an extra cost?
Has anyone got a good deal on these?
Also, anyone managed to SKY HD at a good price? £200 for the box + an extra tenner on top of your monthly subscription is the standard?
Anyone tried to contact Sky/VM to haggle the best deal?
I'm with VM for internet (20mb @ £37 a month) and have the £45 a month Sky TV.0 -
We are on the virgin VIP package which is the one I think you are talking about and yes you do get all the sky sports and sky movies channels and a v+ box (like skyplus), plus all landline calls at all times for free and the 20mb broadband you already have. You could try calling them to see if you can haggle a bit more off the price, never hurts to try!0

Ive rang them and was offered sky+ for £49 and multiroom for £10 a month he just wouldnt give it for free ,is there anyway i can get multiroom or a box in kids bedroom for free.thks (i said ill think about it)
I run a co-axil cable on a splitter Y piece to the kids room from my bedroom sky box. No degradation of picture, no monthly fee. Only thing is they have to watch what you watch - never found that a problem as we view at different times. Y piece 89p, co-axil cable less than a fiver.... bargain.:jA bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.0 -
I've been on Sky (Sky TV and 16mb broadband) for almost 1 year now and I was thinking about haggling and getting cheaper price in the next few weeks but I got a letter from Sky yesterday detailing that the price of it all is going up £1!
Is it worthwhile me pursuing and trying to get a cheaper price?
On a different note altogether as well... Does anyone know how I can get rid of these bogus Sky letters I keep getting through the post, regarding Sky maintenance?
