i went for the 3 for £30 deal than got them to reduce the phone line to medium and upgrade the tv package to xl, also got them to give me the broadband to xl as well which is also being upgraded next month to 10mb for free. try and see if you can get that or the same. my friend got one better and get 6months free sky movies but without the broadband upgrade.

when moving house I got a L tv package, phone line with unlimited landline calls and 4mb BB for........... wait for it.............

    £15 a month!

but then, after 12 months the credits came off the account and now I pay £30 as the CS assistant refused to put them back on saying it's the cheapest she'd ever seen it and there must have been an error.

but those 12 months felt good!

WOW this is a long thread and i hav'nae read it all  but here's my story:D

i am with bt and use their broadband and phone service

my bills with bt are around 177 a quarter

(my kids download loads, so i always have to pay extra on top of my package price)

i have two sky dishes with just free to air (bought these £75 each and installed at different ends of house) so am i a sky customer?

Anyway phoned sky yesterday and was offered,

    SKY+ box £45 installed free
    2 TV packages £17
broadband with 40G inclusive download month £10
    line rental £10
sky talk free phone calls for 6 months then £5

    so i make that £37 a month for 6 months then £42

just get the MAC code from BT they said

that took 5 calls  , where

bt tried to sell me an inferior package

    bt disconnected my call

bt left me hanging on for 10 mins to a dead line

bt tried to talk me out of sky deal quoting watchdog and poor broadband

bt (after i had found web site dealing with BTs appalling treatment of their customers and a new telephone number) gave me my MAC code

as the thing hasn't been installed yet , i await advice from my learned MSE:beer:
