Hi, I rejoined Sky this afternoon after being offered Sky + box for £49, plus £30 connection. Able to get 6 mixes, Sky Sports package for £38, plus Broadband Connect for reduced price of £10 (should be £17 - don't live in free broadband area), and they are also throwing in free DAYTIME, evening and weekend calls for 6 months (normally an additional £5 per month). Total cost per month £48, but need to call back August to stop daytime calls package otherwise will be charged extra £5 per month after that.

I'm looking to upgrade from Sky+ to Sky HD... Does anyone know if the 'Turnaround Dept' will offer this? Maybe even put the Sky+ unit in the bedroom for us too?

I've dug around the Virgin site - haven't got a clue.

Any idea what they might be sending me?

just had my free sky+ box installed on monday (17th). on Thusday had to have a replacement and guess what
getting my 3rd box on Monday!!!!! the boxes that are going out "free" or very cheap are ALL reconditioned according to the sky installer. No new boxes available unless you pay full price. They are not properly reconditioned and some have faults. a work collegue of mine has had 4 boxes in as many months!! i suppose i cant fault their service cos they offered to come out on easter sunday but i said no. they even said to write in with phone call details as i complained about the number of calls we have to make and the length of time on phone. i will see if i get a result on that. in the meantime- 3rd time lucky hopefully. but very disappointed so far.
