Min. sign-up is 3 months when coming back.0 -

My £25 offer for Ntl Digital TV for life would have knocked aLL other offers off my account (putting my bill up £25 per month). So today I have had to decline. I was only told after we had set up a day to install. BEWARE.....0

hi everybody, does someone have a number for sky's retention department ?0

I just cancelled my subs:T they started the begging process (asking if i have kids, watch music, etc) but i cut in and said i only watch the freesat channels now. So its goodbye and wont be coming back:beer: i was told if i do come back, i have to pay double in the first month (a month in advance).
A huge word of warning to anyone who still has a special deal on with them, please dont change any packages as the special will be automatically cancelled. I changed one of my mixes last week and its shot back up to full price (even though i had until april), and im only getting 40p credit for 2 weeks worth of a £15 package. Thanks Sky:mad:
I had the Sky+ installed last week and was still able to cancel my subs, this is ok, but anyone else who wants to do this must wait until the Sky+ has been installed, you cant cancel whilst waiting for the installation (even though there is a 30 day notice period).
My Sky+ doesnt work by the way, probably what i deserve for paying £49 in total.0 -
Just phoned up to cancel having read some of the success stories on here only to get the most abrubt bloke ever! Said yes that's fine, will cancel it for you! No offers, no begging, not even a warning about reconnection. I have had sky for 7 years now paying full price and not even an ounce of loyalty discount. Maybe they think since I've been with them that long I'll never leave!
Have cancelled now but I will phone and change my mind on the last day if no-one contacts me to try and convince me to stay...

Called the 0800 0512595 number this morning and chose Cancellations and then Turnaround from the automated options. Picked that advice up on this board and it seems good - gets you quickly to the people who have the power!
Immediately through to a Sky bloke and told him that I was having problems with my Digibox (standard non + version) and was thinking of giving up and going Freeview. He immediately offered a no-cost service visit or alternatively Sky+ for £49 fully installed. I accepted the £49 and was put on hold for a couple of minutes while he got the discount verified by his manager. Then I paid by Credit Card and I am booked for Sky+ installation on Weds coming. I have to stay for 12 months.
Very easy and quick - whether the fact that I am on the full package makes a difference I don't know but I expected more of a struggle!0 -

If someones joined it without knowing surely they could come off it and just go on the family pack and get other offers like for bb and telephone?Thanx
