  • The incentives will return I'm sure.
  • Same with sky,we had the £21 package, but got NTL for the phone+b/b,

So rang both companys up as were just at the end of the contract with sky and they weren't interested to be honest, like stated no incentive to stay

Ntl on the other hand totally differant story.

    They offered me

    Talk Unlimited
    B/B 4MB
    SKY SPORTS
    MOVIES
    FAMILY PACK

    Basically everything £39p/m

before it was costing me well over £53p/m and thats was without sport/movies.

Although its for 6mths at a time i do have the direct number of the chap who authorised it and told me ring in 6mths and well go through it again.

  • Hi all - I've just come across this great site and I'm very interested in trying for the sky+ upgrade for £49 but as I've just taken out boradband with sky I guess it's reduced my bargaining power as I think I'm tied in for 12 months? Has anyone got a suggestion of a way in which I can still get sky+ for £49?

    Cheers,
    Chris

Anybody any sucess with Setanta. I note that they have taken on the PGA golf tour from Sky but want £15 a month which is too steep. They offer a £10 a month for 3 month deal but is anyone aware if they are flexible?

  • Hi all, I'm having some issues with my sky+ at the moment. It's seems to glitch every now and then which is annoying when you miss that vital explanation in Lost! Having looked at the signal strength it seems that whilst one feed is ok the other is not so great.

I was thinking of phoning up and cancelling unless sky send an engineer to fix free of charge but have been seeing how unwilling they are to do anyting to keep customers now. What do you think my chances are and are there any tips I should stick to to get this problem resolved before 24 starts :-)

    Thanks.

I have read quite a few posts on here complaining about customer loyalty and thats why they want to cancel. But its the same people that say they are always on the lookout for a better deal and will cancel if they can get it cheaper elsewhere. Wheres the loyalty there? Once people are given an offer they want to keep paying that price so when the price goes back up they will ask to cancel again.

Has anyone tried out SkyBroadband or SkyTalk. Im thinking of switching but want to know if its any good first.
