    Good result Troo!
I was really hoping it stays dry cos I've put my washing out for the first time in ages, but I think its starting to rain.Yep,back in a mo....
What a waste of time that was.It was lovely earlier on too.
Did lots of stuff with mince last night,so tea is chilli and rice.Made a yogurt cake off the recipe thread here for the packed lunches too,so today I can have an easy day and go and make some more cards.
DH & DS2 will be home early as they are finishing off on a job today. Then they'll prob be around for a few days pricing up and hopefully waiting for the go-ahead for another .

    Nice one Troo!:D
Am a bit woolly headed at the moment as was awake from half 1 till 5, not long been up and nothing seems to be sinking in. Weather was nice at 5 but seems to have rained since. I did put DW on before I went back to bed, but nothing else has been done yet.
(((hugs))) for poorlies, those with poorlies and all the others who need one.

    Hey, Troo - that's brilliant!

Thanks for all the ideas about freezer labels - I shall try them all and see how I get on!

(((Hugs))) to Twink - sorry about your uncle.

PenPin - I really enjoyed Cranford - one of the best things I have watched!

Donny-Gal - I've thoroughly enjoyed Johnny Walker today - he's been brilliant. I wish he was on more often; he's one of the best presenters and I love his sense of humour.

Beth - (((hugs))) to your poor DGD.

Well, the world didn't get sucked into a black hole - well, not yet at least. I hope they let me get the ironing done first!

I know one thing I'm not happy about - the lies the weather forecasters told us yesterday. They said it would be dry and sunny and it's grey and wet - I suppose they'll blame it on the Hadron Collider!

Anyway, has anyone lost the pictures of other people's smileys? Because I have .

French onion soup is in the Remoska and smells delicious - I'm just glad I peeled the onions before I put on my make-up!

I must change my avatar - I've now put a ladybird on my boob so the picture needs updating. I've posted the boob off now so it will join all the other weird and wonderful ones that have been made.

Anyway, the place feels like a tip because DH has been home for most of the morning, continually interrupting me as usual - I might as well do his quotes for him! He's gone out for a couple of hours so I can get on - well, when I get off here!

    See you later.

Ignore this post - I'm fiddling around with the smileys. It says my smileys are 'on' yet I can't see mine and I can only see the birthday cakes in everyone elses! I have no idea whether I've done anything wrong or not - may ask my techie-minded DS1 later.

  • Troo - congratulations! Enjoy the "extra" money! And celebrate the fact that you won't be off to the curtain shop! I'd fall in love with the piggies too and wouldn't be able to part with them, we don't have any at the mo though, our last pair died at the start of the summer - old age!

Mrs Mix - glad you're feeling well enough to get cross!

Well couldn't sleep this morning, pootled and pottered around instead, just had an early lunch and off for a snooze now! Seems a shame as the sun is finally out, ah well!

  • Just a quickie from me to say Happy Birthday to Charlie's mum's DS and PP:beer:  But I have to say the best are born on the 11th like my DS :rotfl: Actually I feel sorry for all like him who share that birthdate, it will forever be overshadowed by the events of 7 years ago. It was so terrible I don't think he ever quite *lets go* in his celebrations, especially as his wife's brother wasn't heard from for hours.

I have two washloads dancing on the line in lovely sunshine. I have to go out in a minute to get said Ds's birthday card ( why oh why didn't I remember that while buying his gifts yesterday?:rotfl: :o ), so the question is, do I trust it not to rain:think: Bound to get it wrong whatever way I decide:rolleyes:

Welcome to all the new posters, ((((hugs))))) to all in need( especially twink), and congrats to those celebrating.
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
