Whatatwit - thanks for admiring our boobs!

Taplady - I don't know what to say about your news but just want to wish you luck; it's very puzzling, isn't it? It will be great if you don't need it so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

  • Need to come down of my cloud - managed to reverse into a car this morning - it was (legally) parked in a stupid place (ie: behind me!!!!) but even so it was my fault.

No damage to mine so no excess to pay, and protected no claims so no worries about losing discount unless i do it again.

All the same, I feel pretty stupid.

Hope everyone else managed their day in a responsible fashion!

Well the scientists involved will doubtless get their money and prestige - whilst the rest of us sit here and wish Dr Stephen Hawking had never been born - as apparently hes the person at the route of this way back....

I know a couple of guys that work at CERN - the LHC is truly fascinating! I really really want to go and visit :) They've been building the magnets for 20 years alone. I was really annoyed when the US stopped building the SSC because they ran out of cash - that one would have hit higher energies than the LHC ever would get to. :o

Right gang, in the interests of science and the safety of MSE OS members, I think that we should send Celyn as our official scouting party to test the safety of the LHC.
Once we receive word that all is safe and we are not about to disappear down a black hole, then normal Os'ing can resume.

I don't think anynoe need panic about the LHC, smaller ones have been going for 30 years with no ill effects. I have to admit it is a very sore point with me, one of my work colleagues is being really silly about it.
Happy B'day to Charle'smum's DS, hugs to Twink & to PO, Happy anniverary to the Sunnys.
I'm still cooking forBIL, if he lives on lager & fags when he's got his own place, no one will be able to point the finger of blame at me!
