Sub-£350 powerful laptops discussion

I think I'd be swayed towards the Asus, they all have the same processor but the dedicated graphics of the Asus just swings it for value for money. Dedicated gfx may not be necessary for what you will be using it for but given processor and costs are fairly equal amongst all three you might as well have it as not. Only thing to consider is that it has 4gb RAM, as opposed to the other two's 6GB. Probably not a problem but if it is, it's easy and cheap enough (about £30 for 8Mb) to upgrade yourself if you find it necessary in future.Hi All,
I'm looking for a laptop under £450 (yes I know the thread is sub £350 but didn't want to start a new thread and get told off for it!).
I need it to work from home remotely, running numerous large Excel spreadsheets simultaneously. Also uploading photos, general surfing - possibly watching programmes on iPlayer.
I'm thinking I'll need an i5 so was looking at these 3:

Samsung http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-NP350V5C-Integrated-Graphics-Windows/dp/B008EJGJKO/ref=sr_1_13?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1349431495&sr=1-13

Any preferences?
Thanks in advance,

Thanks for the advice. Sadly the Asus has gone up from £429 to £546 since my original post!0

Looks like it's gone out of stock with Amazon so the price showing now is the next best priced seller. If you're not in a hurry might be worth waiting to see if Amazon get it back in stock at the original price next week. Thanks for the advice. Yesterday I posted about anti glare screen to put on a laptop but saw this thread and feel perhaps I should ask on here can you still buy matte screen laptops anywhere under £350.
I have Googled a lot but only come across ones a lot lot dearer.0 -

Hello,
About the vouch there is one for apparently 10% off any Dell order.

However it only lasts today.
I have also found this laptop which is a pretty good deal for £400.
Toshiba Satellite Pro L850-1DV Laptop - Core i5 3210M, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD 15.6" (Dabs - £400 incl delivery or about £392 with cashback)

There is almost always a voucher code of some sort available for Dell so don't panic about that one running out. I would suggest anyone thinking of buying through Dell google for a code first and if you don't find one, just wait a week and there'll be a new one (I seem to get a Dell email almost every friday informing me of a 10% voucher and/or free delivery). Also the cashback sites usually have generous cashback for Dell too. I bought a Dell a few months back and combination of 10% voucher, free delivery offer and cashback it knocked about 80-90 quid off the price.Hello,
