I've just gone for this one - FUJITSU LIFEBOOK AH 531 - £329 from Comet.

Slightly slower processor than the Dell but more RAM and Bluetooth.

I found it slightly cheaper online but I'm not sure that included delivery.

2.5% cashback on TCB + Comet have a 5% off code at the moment so it cost me just a little over £300 - plus I could pick it up on my home from work.
Thanx for that. I need to buy a laptop fast. How are you finding it? I dont really know the brand... I will use Skype a lot. Is the camera and sounds ok? I might get this weekend...

    Both have got poor processors.
The best available currently is the one posted #2735 but you`ll have to fork out an extra tenner because it`s £339.

This is the exceptional offer you`re looking for because if you go to Dells site it`s actually £399.

Thanks 2010 the Dell it is.
I really appreciate the advice given as I am pretty clueless when it comes to techy things. :T

If you do get it, I would ignore the one months free McAfee trial and download this one for you free antivirus.

It will be the Windows7 64 bit version you need.

Tried to buy this over the weekend, but now the item is £400.

The code worked fine, at the old price, for a further £18 off.

I went via Quidco for a further 3% off.

Although the site said item in stock, it would not allow me either home delivery or collect at store.

So, any other recommendations , for a 15" laptop, with an i5 third gen. processer, at a price nearer to £350 than £400 ?

    Thanks in anticipation.

IMO you're unlikely to find that I'm afraid, 2nd gen i5 for £350 maybe, but another 3rd gen i5 for £350, you could be waiting a long time.

    Is this laptop any good?

I am attracted to it as it says none reflective screen.

I like to use my laptop to look through photos and so the right screen with a good 'out of the box' calibration is so important to me. In all my years of buying PCs and laptops I have been lucky but when Googling this week I have come across problems with colour casts which can be a pig to sort out.

Thank you in advance if you can help
