Thought this was a good deal for a large screen model, any thoughts?

Im looking for an i3 sandybridge laptop for around £300. Is it worth waiting till after xmas for better deals?

The £330 Fujitsu Sandybridge @Dabs(ebay) has sold out but its available directly from Dabs for £350 (-£10 voucher -£14 Quido approx using code QUID10 - Expires in 8 hours).

I'd be very surprised if this i3-2310M with 4GB memory and 500GB disk was available for this price after Christmas.

Spotted these two in the Currys price crash. I like the Lenovo laptops (that's what I already have). Is it worth paying the extra £30 for the second one or is it no better than the first?

The second one has a faster processor (CPU mark 725 against 453), a much bigger hard drive (750GB against 320GB), and a better battery (claimed 4-5 hours against up to 3.5 hours).

Thanks for the reply. Have had a look again and this one is available for the same price. It's not a Lenovo but it seems to have a better processor (I may have that bit wrong!!) Can you let me know what you think?

You really missed out on the Fujitsu AH531 being sold via Dabs Outlet a day or two ago.
The ones to which you link suffer in comparison.

I would potentially be looking for a Toshiba to take advantage of their trade-in offer that's currently running but would consider alternatives as the trade-in / up isn't a must.

Its a shame you missed the Fujitsu laptop from Dabs. This i3-370M at £338 seems very expensive! May be worth waiting a couple of days to see if Dabs finds some more stock...
