I was thinking of ordering this from Asda
http://direct.asda.com/Toshiba-Satellite-C660D-1C6-Laptop---3GB-RAM---320-Hard-Drive/000513483,default,pd.html
I only want to use it for word processing and surfing the net. Can someone with more knowledge than me (the rest of the population) let me know if it's worth the price of £259.
Many thanks.
This looks ideal for my youngest - thanks bizzybee.
Am needing a second for the older son with graphics spec to allo Age of Empires type game play. I assume a decent graphics spec will see the price rise to well over £400?
EDIT!!
Can anyon eplease compare the asda deal to this one and advise which has the better performance for day to day usage please?

Anyone looking for a laptop ought to head down to your local Sainsbury as they have a few for £230-250 and £300. Ask them to check the prices on the ones they have as the labels on most are out of date. The Medion ones are new processors(i3-2310m, £250 or i5-2410, £300) but most are perfectly good previous processors(i3-330 or i3-370), there are a few Celeron ones which are a bit slower, there is also a nice Acer 5552 with AMD Phenom N830 processor, 500Gb hard drive, red or black. Certainly worth a look, maybe note down what model numbers and check them out first.0

these Dell laptops that Asda have on offer - cannot find the exact model on Dells website.
it seems to have a different processor than those laptops on the website - AMD Brazos C60 rather than Intel celeron.
are they selling off Dells discontinued lines or are the US versions (Asda being owned by Wallmart)?
i'm not allowed to post a link apparently?? its the Dell Inspiron M5040 Laptop0 -
