Hi, it looks like I may have to replace my 'Lenovo' (worst laptop i've ever owned & Lenovo support is absolute rubbish!).
I have £400 ish to spend on a new one, I use it mainly for doing simple graphics and art, e mailing, surfing and chatting with friends on msn. I don't do any gaming.
What does everyone consider to be the most reliable laptop please?0 -
I was thinking of ordering this from Asda
http://direct.asda.com/Toshiba-Satellite-C660D-1C6-Laptop---3GB-RAM---320-Hard-Drive/000513483,default,pd.html
I only want to use it for word processing and surfing the net. Can someone with more knowledge than me (the rest of the population) let me know if it's worth the price of £259.
Many thanks.0 -

No problems at that price. Looks a good, basic laptop. Only 2 USB ports.0 -
Thanks TakeThis. As I said it's only for basic use so 2 USB ports is fine, I only ever use one at a time anyway.0

On the subject of extended warranties, Acer's 3 year extension is still available for £30 on ebay. e.g.

Finding a reasonable spec, good value, Acer is perhaps a little tricky. How about this?
