information at their website is contradictory.

    FAQ Q21.
Will my credit expire if I don't use it?
"Your credit will never expire providing there is activity on your account (either a chargeable call, SMS or top-up). If there is no activity for a continuous period of 90 days, we reserve the right to terminate the account in accordance with our general terms and conditions."
    http://icardmobile.co.uk/faq.php

    Terms & Conditions 9.3.
"We resevre the right to suspend your Services if you choose not to use the Services (meaning making a chargeable call or SMS, not including those to 263 or 265) or do not top-up your balance for a continuous period of 180 days."

I think the T&C prevail. They have probably changed them, but failed to correct the FAQ.

 I once got a Virgin PAYE account as part of a phone purchase.
I was getting charged 26p per min and thought I was being ripped off.
'dazzammm' is paying 40p per min. So 26p that I was paying must be something of a bargain ;)
    I feel better now :D

My mum rang up Virgin to cancel her account and instead of the extortionate 40p/min they reduced it to 8p/min and free calls to other Virgin mobiles (100 mins/month), even though she is not a Virgin media customer. Worth a try!
  • Sorry if I'm doing this wrong-not very good with computers! Going crazy trying to buy my first mobile-PAYG! All the tariffs seem to say you pay an amount each month. Does that mean that I lose the money if I haven't made enough call?. My husband's credit lasts until the money runs out, so when that happens we top it up. Can't get any sense out of anybody, but it seems a simple question to me! Please help!!

All? Could you post en example? I think you mean that many PAYG offer some sort of bundle that you may buy, but don't have to, or some bonus for topping up some minimum amount. Bundles and bonuses have a limited lifespan.

I am an existing virgin media customer for Internet/landline phone. I am thinking of changing my asda mobile tariff to virgin at 8p minute and 8p text with 50 minutes to other virgin mobiles per month. I have received my virgin media sim card today but does anyone know if I can order another 2 sim cards for my husband and daughter through my account with virgin???

You can go as PAYG or buy monthly Goodybags, plus if you have family and friends on Giffgaff you can text and call them for free.
And you keep getting free credits if you waste your life on spamming like teajayy1 does.
    Head here for more details:

Avoid like a plague especially if you do not have much time to make a phone call, send email, involve in argument, etc. It is a dodgy company ......
