Which network is cheapest for talk, text and data. Whats new lets have the latest.

So far the best deal i found is Icard mobile. Landline 5p, mobile 8p and sms at 5p.

In my opinion it's Ovivo. Costs nothing and if you use more than the limits of 100 minutes, 100 texts or 400Mb of internet then a low cost 30 day contract is generally cheaper.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

This Ovivo sounds interesting. So you just pay £10 for the sim which you get as credit in the sim card. Then you get free 100 min and 100text and data completly free every month without toppping up a penny.

    Have i got that right.

    Thanks for this post.
Had a quick read through ovivomobile website. After the 100 free minutes/texts each month, its 8p to UK mobiles and landlines.
Apparently you pay £10 to sign up but you get that back as £10 of calling credit.
Does any unused part of this calling credit expire after sometime?!

"5.4. All credits must be used within 360 days of topping up. Any unused credit after this period will expire and you will be required to top-up again"

I signed up and got the SIM the following day. Could not make any calls. Got an SMS saying no credit left!
I phoned Ovivo Customer Care. They investigated fast and called me back to say a new SIM is on way.

Have you activated the sim online?

Yes I had done that. This morning, I got the replacement SIM that they sent me. Poped that in and I could make calls. :)

Haven't tried out data as yet. Huawei E3131 dongle I got for Sambamobile should work.
