The cheapest Pay As You Go mobile tariff

Re Help! O2 pay/go seems expensive- thanks for Ovivo idea, Grumbler...
Ovivo sounds great- so great it seemed too good to be true... and then I read "Supported Devices- In order to use OVIVO, you will need an unlocked mobile handset (both Smartphones and Feature Phones are supported), tablet or Mobile Broadband Modem." So it presumably won't work for my old Nokia 3510i?
Anybody have any other suggestions?
Thanks in anticipation,
-Nick0 -
If your Nokia 3510i is unlocked (or locked to Vodafone) then Ovivo should work. Your phone doesn't do 3G but in it's time might have been seen as a "feature phone". I think the "i" was supposed to suggest Internet.0

A couple of other things.
1) I paid for my Ovivo SIM using PayPal so try that if there are doubts about card processing.
2) If unlocking is an issue, then giffgaff run on o2 and their PAYG while not free like Ovivo might merit a look.0 -
Hello there "I'm just careful",
thanks for these clarifications and words of advice, sounds like it'll soon be time to give Ovivo a trial, tho' I'll have to put some money on the existing contract to keep us going now as the delivery time will otherwise leave us with no access at all- should have planned further ahead! Hope to report back in due course.

I have been on FamilyMobile (aka Ikea) for a year or two now, 6p calls, 4p texts - this was after asda hiked their rates. I have now ordered a 3 sim for the 3-2-1 deal, as its half the price. Ovivo does look a super deal, and I may consider it in time...0

Thanks to those who recommended Ovivo Freedom. I was really nervous about changing to Ovivo it but now that I've done it, I'm really pleased with it. It should save me a fortune:)0

You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

I have been using the Ovivomobile Freedom Plan since January. No complaints so far. Three Mobile 321 would be useful if the free allowances run out.
Could not find their tariff for calling abroad. Does anyone know?!0
