Hi everyone, another wet day here in MK. Good luck Jess hope it goes smoothly for you. Probably going to have fishcakes and new pots tonight with veg. Got to try to tackle the ironing mountain tonight as well, did some last night but didnt make much of an inroad. Duddles to all, have a good day x

It's lovely here, a really gorgeous September morning. Do so love this month.
Slept like a log last night and feel much better for it. Also have been out for a run.

MEANMARIE hope your OH is better soon.

Need to nip to the library this morning and the butchers. Want to get a ham hock as have a thing at the mo for pea and ham soup. Then I shall be going to the allotment and finishing off DS's room. Also have counselling. Want to make cheese and onion pasty's if I get time.

Great news Poppyoscar - hope your head is ok after the celebratory drink last night

Am waiting for postman as he is bringing a new phone, as I am up and ready he will probably come about 12. Was going to library after hes been but fed up with walking in the rain, so may have a craft day instead. Want to make some xmas cards and have some door hangers to finish. I tried covering them in paper like they do on the celebrations board, but they ended up looking a bit like 'look what I made at playschool today mummy':rotfl::rotfl:so I have painted them instead. SC will be going on soon, just need to work out whats going in it!

eventually got DD1's (14) sat results she has done really well got 7's in everything:T realy proud of her

not been around for a couple of days due to work but have got 2 days off now!:j
Am envious of those of you with sun - its tipping down here - the last thing we need as it wont take much for it to flood again.

Have got lots of washing to do today - it will have to hang around inside, will use DS1s room to keep it out of the way as he's not here till the weekend.

DS2 had ahis first half day at college yesterday, thankfully he enjoyed it and managed to get the bus home:T He has got a whole day today, caught the bus at 7.30 and wont be home till about 6.45 tonight - a long day but this is because we live in a small town with a dreadful bus service!:rolleyes: His bus pass hasn't arrived yet so we are having to pay ATM which is £4.50 a day I could do without spending!also still awaiting his EMA:rolleyes:

Quick post (for me) as little bear has woken up grumpy!

Good luck Jess - it is the most marvellous thing that ever happened to me.

Charliesmum - some vets are really good at dealing with recalcitrant pets - evil cat goes to one particular vet (if we can manage it) in our group practice who tolerates no nonsense (but also gives her a cuddle :rolleyes:) Hope it is not too expensive :eek:

Aussie Lass - my cupboards are still a hiding a lot of rubbish, but I'm working my way through it to get going on the better stuff. Tonight is home made wedges of roast sweet potato and parsnip - and a tinned pie!

Feeling too poorly to go to doctors. Changed appt to tomorrow afternoon so dear heart will be home to keep an eye on little bear. It's not just me staggering over there, it's my silly hang up about getting little bear out and then getting a grumbling bear dressed and keeping him from mischief while I manhandle the pushchair down a flight of steps into the rain and I can't work out the rain hood.

I did go out for a short walk yesterday and felt better for it and I'm still getting plenty of rest
today I'm going to have a little potter around but taaking breaks in between

Taplady the EMA is runnig late I phoned a couple of weeks ago and they said it could be another 2 weeks before we hear anything then last week all their computers crashed so they are saying even longer now
