Isle of Sheppey does seem to have a certain reputation, although whether that is well founded or not, I dont know?Pawpurrs x0

i must admit that leysdown isn't that fabulous, nor is sheerness. but i think you get the not-so-good areas wherever you go
we live right out in the countryside, in eastchurch which is probably the nicest area, and we hardly ever venture into sheerness or leysdown as we don't need to. OH works in sittingbourne, and we shop at the local farm-shop & butchers mostly.
just as an aside rsootarsing... my best friend lives in faversham, and i personally wouldn't touch it with a barge-pole :rotfl: (and that's coming from someone who lives on the isle of sheppey:rotfl: )

Well I have just had an offer from the people who came yesterday, who seemed the least keen of all the viewings I have had. What did I say about its allways the ones you dont expect?
Anyway its a lot lower than the previous offer that we accepted, .,
Ok they have come up another 5k and said that thats their final offer, but that they would be happy for us to keep it on the market and should we get another higher offer that they would understand
Good luck which ever way you choose to go. Fingers crossed they come up with the extra money for you0 -
Well now they are closed for the evening so a nailbitting evening ahead!Pawpurrs x0

i hope it works out pawpurrs its about time one of us got an offer. we are going for a world record how long can it take to sell your house 19 mnths and counting lol. im really dreding being in your position we have a bottom line we can accept and also a top figure we can offer we know people are prob going to offer less and vendors are going to try and push us higher. iv started saving (see signature) to try and get as much as possible towards the extra 5K we think we are prob going to need to secure the house we want. no call from EA yet to rearrange viewing said would be before weekend may have to ring on fri if had no contact.:coffee:i find a cup of tea can solve most problems:coffee:

Another viewing completed. Nice couple, seemed to like the house and garden.. They sold at the weekend and seem to have others booked in as well tonight..
Got another viewing booked for Friday afternoon..
Had the EA from the property we made an offer on (but was rejected) call this afternoon - checking if we were still interested in the property. Explained it was still ONE of the properties on our list.0 -
I thought you really wanted that house?Pawpurrs x0
