To those selling in these difficult times

Hello - well what a great day I am having. Went out this morning and our for sale boards have been put up. We are also on the EA's website although only skeleton details as we are waiting to have brochure approved.
We have also had our first viewer booked in for Saturday morning. They are an investor so not sure how much they are likely to want to pay - been told they want a bargain (dont we all).
Trying desperately not to be excited about any of this as I know its more than likely going to be a long process and hardly ever the first viewer will make an offer and then even if they do its the whole selling process to go through but I am finally glad we are getting somewhere. I am so inpatient. These next few months are going to be somewhat difficult arent they?0 -
Probebley will be, but you can be lucky, fingers crossed.
Good luck for your viewing. I have one this afternoon, have tidyed a bit, but cant be bothered to go mad as usual, lost count now, but must be on about viewing no 60 now!Pawpurrs x0 -
Hi all
I've just taken the plunge & arranged for the estate agent to come next wednesday to take the pictures & ours is going up for sale. We had 3 valuations, £30k of a difference between the highest & lowest ! I have finished my painting & am frantically tidying & cleaning now !! Fingers crossed & good luck to all who are doing same !

we got a phonecall from ruralscene this morning, and we've got another viewing on monday now. you never know, they might put in an offer, and if it's higher than our previous buyer then i'll know why this has all happened! i know it's wishful thinking, but hey ho, i can but dream lol

Hi, I'm joining your thread today. My 1 bedroom flat near Amersham, Bucks has jsut gone on the market.
I ahve the added fun of having to extend the lease as part of the sale. At the moment I have no idea what this is likely to cost.
The flat has tenants in until mid June but they have been really good and viewing are going ahead. The first viewing came back with "Has decided she would rather try to find a two bedroom property but liked the space the property had to offer"
Anyhow, fingers crossed for everyone else on here:beer:Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -

Wow never would have thought such a lovely property would be on the Island.
Don't know why but you have this mental image of people who are on money saving expert as regular people living in regular houses looking for tips on how to save some cash, not people living in almost mansion's like that.Making money online in 2009 to date earnt:

Believe it or not, we're going with the lower figure as we both think it's more realistic in the local market !0

Hello all, another newbie here, just taken the plunge and the house went on the market yesterday, now awaiting the 'no show' viewers and joke offers. Good luck to everyone else trying to sell.0
