Wow never would have thought such a lovely property would be on the Island.

thanks... i think lol.. what's wrong with the island? we love it here :D
Don't know why but you have this mental image of people who are on money saving expert as regular people living in regular houses looking for tips on how to save some cash, not people living in almost mansion's like that.

i am a regular person trying to save money! as i said in a previous post, we would NEVER have been able to afford a place like this on our own. we bought it with my parents and they live in one half, we live in the other. before we moved here we lived in a 3-bed semi in the middle of ashford (not even a *nice* part of ashford!).

just because we may seem asset rich, does not make us any less cash-poor! :o

:confused:Well I have just had an offer from the people who came yesterday, who seemed the least keen of all the viewings I have had. What did I say about its allways the ones you dont expect?
Anyway its a lot lower than the previous offer that we accepted, .,

Ok they have come up another 5k and said that thats their final offer, but that they would be happy for us to keep it on the market and should we get another higher offer that they would understand
    Pawpurrs x ;)

The offer is under my bottom line, really, they have said they wont offer any more, I have said I need another 5k, so dont think we are going to be able to agree a price, that would still be 7.5k under my last offer.
Ok the EA has gone back to him and hes raring to go says he will get soliceters in to action and has allready faxed the bank! The EA has told him to hang on we havent accepted his offer yet!

Good luck Pawpurrs, We are off to see a bunch more properties this weekend, one is on at exactly what they paid for it 3 years ago, so don't see them being willing/able to budge at all.

Beki can't say ive explored the island all that much but have only ever been to the towns on work purposes and wasnt a pleasent experience, Im currently looking in Faversham surrounding areas.
